Jaden smiled as he tucked Supreme King's Castle into his Evil HERO deck box.
"So, who do you want to duel next, Jaden?" Yubel asked, crossing her arms. "That person named Zane Truesdale?"
Jaden shook his head. He had just gone to the third-year classroom to look for Zane, but unfortunately, he didn't seem to be at the Academy.
If possible, Jaden truly wanted to go head-to-head with the genius from the original series. He wanted to experience exactly how much pressure a Cyber Dragon deck could put on him, and whether it could force him to unleash the power of Dark Fusion.
"Let's go. I think I'll just head back to the dorm and rest."
Jaden stretched his arms. He was quite satisfied with the day's work. He'd had his fun with the Kaiju deck and squeezed a significant amount of experience out of Chazz. It was time to go back and finish constructing his new HERO deck.
He had only taken a few steps when he noticed Yubel staring off to the side.
"What is it?"
Following her gaze, Jaden spotted a figure quickly ducking out of sight in a corner.
"It's a very cute girl, Jaden," Yubel said with a teasing smile.

Jaden's face immediately fell. He turned and walked away without a word.
"Hmph, interesting… in human terms, you're what they call a total 'straight man,' aren't you?" Yubel caught up to him, continuing her banter.
"I'm a Duelist, not a straight man."
"Duelists don't target, thanks."
Hiding in the corner, Blair Flannigan secretly watched Jaden's retreating back, her eyes shimmering with adoration.
"Master Jaden… what a shame, I couldn't even get a word in…"
She lowered her head in disappointment, but her spirits quickly rallied. A fierce determination ignited in her eyes.

The youth in black chuckled triumphantly, adjusting his brown jellyfish-style hair.
"Have you heard of the Toxic Dueling Sect?"
"Eh? What's that? Some kind of evil cult?"
"Nonsense! How can you call it a cult?" the youth shouted. "We are the most sincere believers of the Sect Leader, Jaden Yuki!"
