The ruins of Perth trembled without end.
Every clash between the Commander and the Arcane General sent shockwaves through the broken city. Buildings collapsed one after another, reduced to dust by the sheer pressure of their battle.
Blue flame and dark energy collided again and again, neither side giving ground.
The Commander gritted his teeth, forcing his blade forward.
"You… won't pass this city!"
The General met his strike effortlessly.
A single motion stopped everything.
Then—
BOOM!
The Commander was thrown backward, crashing through shattered stone walls. He landed hard, skidding across the rubble.
For a moment, he didn't move.
Slowly, he pushed himself up.
His breathing was unstable.
"…I'm… losing it," he muttered. "This is my limit."
His legs trembled.
The blue aura around him flickered like a dying flame.
"…Damn it."
He clenched his teeth.
"I failed…"
His voice lowered.
"…Goodbye, everyone."
A pause.
"…Especially you five."
The General tilted his head slightly.
"Is this your conclusion?"
He took a step forward.
The ground cracked under his foot.
"I expected more resistance."
The Commander tried to raise his sword again—but his body refused to respond.
"Move…!"
Nothing.
His strength had reached its end.
The General raised his blade.
"This ends now."
Before the strike could fall—
BOOM!
A sudden impact slammed into the General's face, sending him flying across the ruined street.
Silence.
Even the wind stopped.
The Commander slowly looked up.
"…That feeling…"
A faint expression of disbelief appeared on his face.
"I know that energy…"
Dust cleared.
A figure stood between them.
Shen.
Calm.
Steady.
Dangerously focused.
Behind him, Kenya and Eliz arrived, taking defensive positions immediately.
Eliz raised her healing ring.
"You're badly injured. Don't push yourself further."
Kenya cracked her knuckles.
"We came just in time… again."
Shen didn't look back.
"Rest."
His voice was low.
"I'll handle this."
The Commander stared at him.
"…Shen."
Shen stepped forward.
The General slowly rose from the rubble, wiping blood from his lip.
For the first time, his expression changed.
Not frustration.
Interest.
"…Another one."
Shen's eyes narrowed.
"Let's end this."
The air around them grew heavy.
Then—
The General vanished.
Shen vanished.
CLANG!
Their collision shattered the battlefield once again, sending shockwaves across all of Perth as the true fight entered its most dangerous stage.
