"Another demon? Huh."
Damien hit Asmodeus with his elbow and pushed himself forward, pulling the rapier from his chest. The wound began to heal instantly, flesh knitting together before Asmodeus's eyes.
"The sin of lust?" Damien turned to face the horned demon. "Or is that a lie? Perhaps you are pretending?" He tilted his head. "Lilith was clearly the sin of Lust. So what will you use against me?"
Asmodeus smiled, his golden eyes gleaming with amusement. "Oh? You figured it out, did you? Shame..." He placed a hand on his own chest. "I would have loved to have you join me in bed. I told Lilith her feminine charm is not exactly as good as she thinks." His smile widened. "I, on the other hand... I would have pleasured you beyond reason."
Damien's eyes narrowed....half disgusted, half confused. "What?"
"Well, it is just as you said." Asmodeus stepped closer, his movements fluid, almost seductive. "I would have used my sin to get to you. And I can only do that with my body." He traced a finger down his own chest. "I would give you love. Pleasure. Unlike Lilith, I am willing to do everything for you. I would own you, pleasure you, give you sensations beyond your mind. Then... you would become mine." His grin sharpened. "And I would devour you."
Damien stared at him. "Jesus... wait, wait. Are you... really the Sin of Lust?"
Asmodeus bowed dramatically. "Of course. I am Asmodeus. The Sin of Lust."
"Then what the hell was Lilith?"
"She was also the Sin of Lust. We both are." Asmodeus shrugged elegantly. "Us sins are two in one. Not one for each sin. Both extremes of the same sin." He paused. "She is the carnal lust. I am the possessive lust."
Damien shook his head. "Okay. Yeah. I see how it is." He raised his daggers, shadows beginning to coil around his feet. "Fuck that though. I am going to kill you too."
Asmodeus laughed, a rich, throaty sound. He winked.
"I would rather you pierce me with something else..."

Moloch was explosive wrath—one born from pure rage and violence. He thrived on destruction, revenge, and bloodshed. That was apparent in his behavior as he thrashed from one place to another, attacking without patterns. He wasn't exactly too strong for Ais, Tiona, and Tione to handle. Their issue was the other one.
Baal.
Baal was the other half of wrath—the half that represented cold wrath. Patient vengeance. His cruel calculation and hatred were shown through how he attacked, using illusion magic to hide behind, sending precise magic attacks directly at them whenever they had an opening on Moloch.
Ais ducked under Moloch's wild swing, her blade carving across his chest. He roared and stumbled back. Tiona bounced in from the side, her blades opening wounds on his flank. Tione moved to cover their rear, her kukri deflecting a precise bolt of dark magic that came from the shadows.
"Where is he?" Tione hissed.
"He is watching," Ais said, her golden eyes scanning the darkness. "Waiting."
Tiona grinned. "Then let us give him something to watch."
She launched herself at Moloch, her blades flashing.

Finn's spear was lodged deeper into the Leviathan now. He activated Hell Finegas, his body surging with power as he went berserk on the serpent. His spear slashed the neck wide open. Black ichor sprayed.
"Daphne! Now!"
Daphne recovered and leaped forward, her dagger driving into the Leviathan's eye. The creature screamed....a sound of pure agony.
But the Leviathan was the personification of destructive envy. The embodiment of the idea: If I cannot have it, no one can.
Its right eye opened. Green ooze began to seep from its wounds. Its body started to glow.
Finn's experience screamed at him. He grabbed Daphne and ran, throwing himself behind a pillar just as the Leviathan exploded.
The blast shook the chamber. Stone cracked. Dust filled the air.
Daphne looked at Finn, her eyes wide. "Thank you."
Finn's left arm hung limp—all the bones inside broken from his desperate dive. He smiled through the pain.
"Yeah. Had a feeling it would do that." He winced. "Ugh... but this is it for me. I am out of the fight." He looked at her. "You have to join Gareth and Lefiya. They might need you."
Daphne nodded and ran.

Material greed. That was what Mammon was. He died simply because he had no true power to speak of. He just desired things....gold, wealth, properties. But most of the time, those things were useless.
That was what made Abaddon different.
Abaddon was abstract greed. The desire for knowledge, truth, experiences, and secrets. That desire had led him to master all combat arts, making him a true great warrior....a jack of all trades.
Ottar charged first. His massive blade descended like a falling star. Abaddon met it with his own sword, the impact sending shockwaves rippling through the chamber.
Riveria followed with a blast of ice. Abaddon sidestepped, his spear already in hand, and launched a counter-thrust that forced Ottar to dodge.
Ryuu moved like a ghost, her kodachi flashing toward his exposed flank. Abaddon dropped his spear and caught her blade with the shaft of his hammer, twisting it from her grip.
Cassandra's arrows flew....three in rapid succession. Abaddon's bow was in his hand before the first arrow reached him. He knocked them aside with a single sweep, then fired a return shot that nearly took Cassandra's head off.
Ottar pressed forward again. Abaddon's axe met his sword. The two clashed....strength versus skill, raw power against accumulated experience.
Riveria's staff crackled with energy. "He is adapting," she called out. "Every move we make, he learns."
Ryuu retrieved her kodachi and circled. "Then we need to make moves he cannot predict."
Abaddon smiled beneath his helmet. "Predictable," he said. "All of you. So predictable."
He spun, his bow, spear, axe, and sword moving in a blur....a master of all weapons, a collector of all skills. The battle continued, neck and neck, neither side gaining ground.
