"How was the day?"
Arthur giggled the moment they stepped into the house, immediately cuddling into Aunt Kelly's warm hug. His laughter filled the living room, light and carefree.
Natalia watched them with a soft smile before quietly slipping away toward her room to change. Her heart was beating faster than usual, excitement bubbling inside her in a way she hadn't felt before.
Tonight.
She had already decided.
She would visit Arthur tonight.
It wasn't like she planned to cross any lines. She was very aware of the boundaries between them. Still… the thought alone made her chest tighten.
'I want to touch him again.'
Natalia sighed softly at the thought.
But Arthur… Arthur was far too tempting.
But they weren't close enough to cross those boundaries. Natalia understood that clearly. All she could hope for was to be someone Arthur could trust… someone he would want to stay beside.
