In a blur, Asher appeared within his room; the very moment he materialized, he let out a low sigh as he shook his head slowly, his gaze instinctively turning to the side where an elaborate cuisine of dishes had been carefully arranged, spread out in a lavish and almost extravagant manner. At the sight of the food, his stomach could no longer maintain its silence and finally growled audibly in hunger, as though protesting the delay.
Asher simply walked forward with unhurried steps, took his seat, and began to eat in silence. As he ate, his mind wandered through everything that had occurred within the past few minutes.
