Razeal frowned when he heard Merisa call out to him again from behind. His footsteps stopped, but only because the voice had caught him by surprise. Slowly he turned his head over his shoulder and looked back at her. There was no warmth in his expression. No curiosity either. If anything, he looked tired. Tired of the conversation. Tired of the emotions. Tired of anything. After everything that had already been said today, he genuinely couldn't understand why she was calling him back again.

His voice came out colder than before.
