The master gate held steady on Nox's interface map where no city feed had shown it. The tie from Corvel ran down toward the capital line like a rope pulled taut. He read the whole structure from the inside, five city switches feeding one door.
Yeda pulled the tie onto the shared feed and laid Diana's five saves beside it. She marked where each platform touched the master beneath the capital route. The map she had wanted before cutting sat on the board in every line she needed.
"Every city anchor runs three lines into that gate, toll ownership takes the money, emergency control takes the override, and maintenance access takes the data," Yeda said, tracing each line off the shared feed. "Cut all three at once and the network drops dead, so I cut only the one that pays him."
