Kendra came up under the Haron Ridge platform from the service crawl below, not through the anchor Kest had welded shut above her. She surfaced in the stabilizer gallery with the decommission order already posted on the board over her head.
The gallery ran the length of the platform's underside, a row of stabilizer arms that held the anchor level against its own load. Kest's salvage detail would start here, and Kendra put her hands on the first arm before the detail could put theirs on it.
"The order dismantles this platform arm by arm, so we hold every arm by hand before their detail arrives to cut it," Kendra said, waving the Haron crews onto the gallery line. "Two people to a stabilizer, take the load when the powered mount drops, and nobody lets go until I call it."
