The first erased name belonged to a woman who was still arguing with a hospital clerk. Crowncast's archive removed her husband from the national casualty roll, and the healing system immediately canceled the treatment priority attached to his documented death.
His widow remained visible on Diana's relay while the clerk's screen changed behind her. Compensation credits vanished first, followed by residence priority and the dependent-care allowance supporting their two children.
"He died during the western gate collapse, three months before anyone built the Hunger Road. I have the city certificate and the recovery-team receipt," the woman said.
"The national record no longer recognizes a verified casualty at that time. I cannot restore benefits from a local document," the clerk replied.
