[a few days later]
In the Academy, in one of the halls, John is sitting on his seat while Elesa is on his shoulder, he's looking at the door of the hall, as if he's waiting for something.
John: Hmmm (it's been five days since the battle with the consul, things got back to normal so fast, those who stayed alive from the consul are now facing a closed investigation from the civilians eyes, so I guess it's for the best to not go any further from here on. Elesa the demon queen herself wasn't able to overpower that strange book, *sigh* I really wanted to be the one to finish Minsium's life with my own hands, but I guess it was his fate to die like that, Savior, godhood, filthy world *sigh* there's no point of thinking about it, it's all in the past now, but there is someone I need to take care of in the meantime, Argh, haven't the old man sent anyone yet?).
Just then, a student opens the door and calls for John and Magali's names.
Student: excuse me, John Shon and Magali lithblom, principal Thorn wants the two of you in his office.
Teacher: you've heard him, don't make the principal wait.
John stands up and starts walking towards the door, while Magali looks confused, but she eventually stands and follows John.
In the hallway, Magali tries to get some answers from John.
Magali: Hey you, why does the principal want to see both of us? I know you have a hand in this matter.
John: . . . . .
Magali: HEY! Don't give me a cold shoulder when I talk to you.
John kept walking, ignoring Magali's questions until they reached Thorn's office, before they enter, Magali starts planning her moves.
Magali: (heh, he's just pretending to be cool, just you wait, when that door opens, I'll make you kneel on the ground and kiss my feet for forgiveness).
Just when John puts his hand on the door handle, Magali rushes through the door and falls on purpose in front of Thorn's desk, then she makes a paniced expression on her face.
Magali: *panting* p-principal *panting* this man, he tried to rape me, he also started threatening me, saying that if I told anyone he'll kill me, please principal, do something!!!
Thorn, with a straight expression, closes his eyes while listening to Magali's words.
Suddenly.
*SLAM* *Clunk*
John closes the door and Lockes it, trapping Magali and Thorn with him, then he starts walking to the desk.
Seeing this, Thorn stood up and walked until he reached where Magali is laying on the ground, he starts sweating while his face is getting more worried when John walked past him, heading to the desk.
John: you took so long to bring us here, you're lucky I'm in a good mood today or else I would've hung your head on my room's wall.
Thorn: y-yes, sorry about that, and thank you for your mercy.
John sits on Thorn's chair and puts his feet on the desk, Magali starts questioning Thorn, trying to understand what just happened, so she stands up to face him.
Magali: p-principal what is happening, why are you apologizing to him, YOU'RE THE PRINCIPAL, YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DISMISSAL HIM FROM THE ACADEMY, SO WHY ARE YOU AFRAID OF HIM?!?!
Thorn: sorry, but I can't do anything to him.
Magali: huh? What does that mean?
From the desk, the sound of clapping with laughter is coming from John as he watches Magali's misery.
John: HAHAHAHAHAHA, I must admit, your acting was pretty solid back there, you almost tricked me into thinking that I did these things to you.
Magali: WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!! DON'T YOU KNOW THAT WHAT YOU'RE DOING NOW IS A CRIME? I'M GOING TO REPORT YOU TO THE MILITARY.
John: I doubt anyone will believe you, especially when even the principal himself won't snitch on me, isn't that right Thorn?
Thorn looks at the ground avoiding John's scary eyes.
Thorn: y-yes, whatever you want me to do I'll do it.
Magali: w-what?!
John: in other words, while you're still inside this office, your life is between my hands, but since I feel generous today, I'll give you a chance to get yourself out of this situation.
Magali: (he's trying to trick me into some kind of game, I better play alongside him for now, and when I get out of here, I'll make him regret it).
John: I assume your silence is a sign of agree to my offer.
Suddenly, the atmosphere changes, and with it, John's voice becomes cold as ice.
John: before we start, don't you two think that you're standing a little higher than your place?
When their ears heard these words, they suddenly kneel on the ground, feeling a weird pressure that their bodys can't handle it.
Magali: (what on earth was that!?!! My body kneeled on it's own, and this pressure, he's just a first year student, how could he unleash this kind of power?! I need to get out of here as fast as possible).
John stands from the chair and grabs something from his pocket, then throws it in front of Magali.
Magali looks at the thing that John just threw, surprisingly, it was a knife.
John: if you want to gain your freedom, you have to do as I say, now choose one of your hands, and cut it.
Magali: What!!? I won't do it, I prefer to be bitten by Hellhounds than doing this.
John: Hmmm? I think you should be careful with your words.
Elesa's eyes glow with a crimson light, and then a crimson portal opens in the corner of the office.
Then a Hellhound walks out of the portal tied to a chain from the portal.
Seeing this, Magali couldn't do anything but scream.
Magali: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!!!
John: didn't you say that you prefer to be bitten by a Hellhound than cutting your hand, well then, choose, cut your hand, or my little friend here will take a bite out of you, but I can't be sure you'll still be alive after that.
With a twisted look at her face, Magali looks at the Hellhound and realizes that losing a hand is much better than losing her life, so she grabs the knife and put it besides the Radius bone.
Magali: OKAY OKAY, I CHOOSE TO CUT MY HAND.
John: I'm happy we reached an agreement, but I'll keep the Hellhound as a backup, so Magali what are you waiting for? I advice you to start now.
The chain that holds the Hellhound gets a little longer, seeing this Magali starts panicking, but the fear made her mind focus on surviving, so she puts her left hand on the ground, and with the other, she puts the knife besides the Radius bone so it can go through her flesh without breaking any bone.
*shhk-slice*
Magali: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH.
As she holds her bleeding forearm, she looks at John, thinking everything has ended.
Magali: *hic. . . .!* *Sniff* here you go *sob. . .* now let me get out of here.
John: oh! I'm so sorry, did I say cut one hand? I meant you have to cut one hand a hundred times.
When Magali heard that, something snapped inside her.
Magali: YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!! THAT'S NOT WHAT WE AGREED TO, BESIDES, HOW IN THE WORLD WOULD I CUT THE SAME HAND A HUNDRED TIMES?!!
John: I think you should take a look at your hand.
Magali takes a look at her forearm, and surprisingly, her hand regrew, and the hand she just cut is still on the ground.
Magali: h-how?!
John picks a book from the near shelf and sits back again in the chair.
John: now, you have until sunset, you better hurry up because if you don't make it, I'll have to kill you.
Magali: (I just need to do it again 99 times, I'll get used to the pain eventually).
Just like the last time, she prepares and puts the knife on her hand, but when she cuts, a shock of pain came across her body.
Magali: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH (WHAT'S HAPPENING?! IT'S MORE PAINFUL THAN BEFORE, BUT WHY?!).
John: oh right, I forgot to mention, every time you cut your hand, you'll feel like you cut one more hand than before, for example, this is your second hand you've cut, that means you'll feel like you cut two hands at the same time, so and so on.
Magali: Argh, YOU MONSTER!!!
John: your time is running out, you better be quick.
John opens the book and starts reading while Magali starts a loop of cutting her hand and feeling more pain, on repeat.
