HeroDude Kage: Chapter 24.
Approximately 15 minutes ago.
The Detroit Institute of Arts is filled with many visitors from all around the world for the summer exhibition.
Their eyes take in the sights of The Thinker sculpture, The Visitation, Watson and the Shark, and many more iconic pieces of art.
But they're not just here to observe iconic art. They also take a glance at new work submitted by kids (K-12) and debuting pieces made by future artists.
People take a look at the new paintings that were made—some they praise, others they criticize. But there is one piece that not everyone seems to like.
It is a painted black and white picture of people talking, walking, couples kissing, friends drinking, people dancing. But in the center of the picture, there is a low-quality, low-effort stick figure surrounded by white.
The observers are very critical about this piece: "What is this?" "The center is unfinished." "Why is this in a museum like this?" One person says "I'm not looking at this." And walks off.
A man in an all-black suit overhears this and walks towards a man dressed entirely in black with clean-cut pants, polished shoes and a well-fitted button-up. A poncho draped in the colors of the Jamaican flag, paired with a matching beret. He appears to be in his mid-40s.
He glances at a frame in disappointment.
"Bomboclaat… Artificial Intelligence is getting too advanced."
The man in all black steps behind him.
"Sir."
The man turns.
"You might wanna see what they are saying about your work."
The two of them walk toward the crowd. As the man is introduced to a group of critics. They continue to talk as if the person who made this work isn't right behind them.
The man looks at the man in all black and says, "Start up the car"
He does exactly that. The man starts to laugh… everyone turns, confused, as he walks up to his work.
He takes a good look at it to see what is wrong. He slowly turns.
"I'm sorry… I didn't know your minds were so influenced by robots to the point where you can't understand real work if the canvas smacked you in the face!"
Everyone starts to get offended. They all talk down on him. The man summons a paintbrush and splashes paint all over the floors. One man was completely creeped out by this and starts to walk off.
"Why must you leave? Didn't you. Come here to see true art?
As soon as the civilian stepped over the paint, the paint forms into spikes that impale his feet. The man screams as he tries his best to free himself. Everyone else screams, but they are surrounded by paint…but suddenly… melting creatures arise up from the puddle. More and more appear surrounding the crowd.
The man raises his brush to the sky with a grin only an evil man would have.
"Now… allow me to show you all… me best work!
The last thing we see is all the melted creatures exploding into paint monsters.
REALITY SORCERER: THE ARTIST.
