Shawn saw the demon hunters of Crow's Nest in the crowd, and it seemed like there were traces of the Night Watch as well, because a particularly burly figure looked very familiar. Jason Tangel, this Transcendent of the Barbarian Path, was also in the group of demon hunters.
"Have the Night Watch and the demon hunters merged?"
Shawn noticed some Night Watchers wearing the cloaks of demon hunters. Among these Night Watchers, there was only one familiar face; the others might be from other parts of the Dorne Kingdom. The higher-ups of the Path of Death were probably planning to reorganize the legacy of the demon hunters. There would likely be more Night Watchers coming to support them since the undead threat hadn't completely ended. While the undead creatures in the Ring City had been cleared, the death energy from the ritual's spread had awakened the graves and corpses in the surrounding areas.
