This Divine Kingdom battle had intensity comparable to the Abyssal Blood War. Because of the convergence of the Law of Death, the surviving creatures absorbed a portion of the soul energy. Shawn didn't need to handle the subsequent work of transformation by the Netherworld, as Lady Hecate dared to go all out, certainly having made complete preparations.
But Shawn needed to clean up the mess in the Realm of Reality.
Before leaving these two gradually merging Divine Kingdoms, Shawn saw countless souls flowing downstream within the Nether River. They were entirely immersed in the river's water, the corrosive water eroding their bodies, washing away the memories of their past lives bit by bit, with only bewildered heads floating on the river's surface, most of their bodies submerged. Some souls even drowned directly, turning into wandering water ghosts within the Nether River.
