As the Soul Summoning Tower rose, Gu Xi also stood at the top of the Soul Summoning Tower.
Standing in this position, Gu Xi could clearly see that at the end of the yellow sand, all the creatures living in the desert were visible through the sandstorm.
Among these creatures, most were hard-shelled insect swarms.
These mainly included arthropods like scorpions and spiders.
It seemed they had already adapted to the desert environment.
Yet, when these swarms appeared, Gu Xi noticed something different.
Although the swarm's numbers were astounding, surging ahead with an imposing momentum,
Gu Xi found something obviously amiss among them.
The biggest anomaly was that these insects charged out of the sandstorm with their shells surprisingly clean.
Gu Xi wasn't saying their shells must be ragged.
But they should at least carry some sand.
