Location: Somewhere in the mountains of the Tower of Eternal Daylight
"Trouble, something seems wrong," someone whispered in the dark. "Ense's destruction machine is starting up again, the Mermaid Empire can't possibly help us block it."
Dark-robed figure A sighed and rubbed his forehead, and the group of dark-robed figures below him all looked equally troubled.
A dark-robed figure of evidently high status, B, was about to lose his mind, grabbing his hair as he spoke:
"It shouldn't be like this. According to our original plan, if we could restrict the Emperor's movements, we would have a chance to let Ense crumble. Too much of their core combat strength is tangled up in the Gate of the Abyss."
According to their initial plan, once the Emperor and his main army were forced into the other side of the rift by their great deity, Ense wouldn't stand a chance to quickly counterattack.
But the reality was that Ense had become increasingly active over the years.
