When Benjamin Walton hurried to the hospital and got to the conference room, the attending physician, the security guards, and the butler were all waiting there.
Under so many pairs of eyes, Benjamin's steps unconsciously slowed down; he just felt the atmosphere in the room was a bit too eerie.
"Mr. Walton?" The attending doctor looked over at Benjamin.
"That's me." Benjamin nodded, then after sweeping his gaze around the room, finally spoke.
"According to our hospital's examination, your wife needs to be hospitalized for treatment," the attending doctor said. "Of course, that's only our preliminary diagnosis; we still need further tests for specifics."
"If she's going to be admitted, we still hope her family will cooperate." The doctor's words made Benjamin's brain buzz in waves; he looked around the room in confusion, then pressed his forehead, trying to cool down his swollen, throbbing head.
But…how was he supposed to calm down like this?
