Sophie Wilson hadn't yet spoken before Old Mrs. Wilson started scolding: "Emerie, are you out of your mind?"
"Dad, can you really blame me for this?" Emerie felt wronged to the extreme. "If you didn't treat Benjamin like this, would I have transferred my shares to him?"
"You, you..." Old Mrs. Wilson was so angry at Emerie that he was trembling and couldn't even speak.
"Dad, you really can't blame me. If it weren't for my brother's relentless pressure, and you treating Benjamin this way, I wouldn't have done this. Besides, Benjamin did it to stand up for me," Emerie said proudly.
Meanwhile, she looked affectionately at Benjamin Walton; his actions just now were incredibly heartwarming, and made her feel the imposing presence of her man, truly handsome and charming.
"Dad, ultimately, it's all your fault. If you hadn't forced me, Benjamin wouldn't have thought of buying other people's shares, and he wouldn't have stood up for me."
