Chapter 351 - Chapter 354: Awakening

The supervisor was already quite experienced. He sat in his chair, leisurely sipping his tea in small portions, quite content. Today he had prepared for an all-night vigil, wanting to see just how extensively these three champions could prepare.

However, when preparation began, Krum finished first, having only brewed some potions and added his previously unused supplies, considering his preparation complete. Fleur was the same, though she prepared some small alchemical trinkets, but didn't spend much time either.

Regarding Krum and Fleur's short preparation time, the supervisor wasn't particularly surprised. Actually, he had prepared so many things specifically to wage a prolonged battle with Sean.

But when he looked at Sean, he discovered that Sean hadn't made anything at all.

Coughing lightly, the supervisor looked at Sean and asked, "Sean, haven't you started making anything yet? Brewing potions or crafting alchemical items should take quite a bit of time, shouldn't it?"

"Supervisor, what I prepared previously is already sufficient, so I don't need to prepare anything more this time."

"..."

The supervisor looked at his oversized thermos of tea, then at the insulated basket at his feet containing various fresh fruits and food, and finally at the reclining chair beneath him. He had prepared so thoroughly, even mentally prepared for a prolonged battle, and then you three pull this stunt on me – are you messing with me? Did you three conspire to mess with me?

His mouth twitching slightly, the supervisor looked at the three earnestly, somewhat pleading, "Are you really not going to reconsider? Isn't there really anything you need to prepare? Using only previous preparations for the competition – isn't this being a bit too dismissive of the third round?"

"Supervisor, we actually take the third round very seriously. It's just that what we prepared previously is indeed sufficient. So thank you for your concern. We won't disturb you anymore. Goodbye."

Watching the three leave, the supervisor weakly raised his hand.

Don't go! What am I supposed to do if you leave? I worked so hard to prepare all this stuff, waiting for a prolonged battle. But nothing got used, not even an hour passed, my seat isn't even warm yet, and you're leaving? Are you kidding me???

The three left the preparation room and went directly to where the Black Lake and Forbidden Forest met. Sean drew his wand and pointed at a stone ahead, which immediately transformed into a table and three chairs. The three sat down, each taking out food and drinks from their Undetectable Extension bags, sitting in their chairs, enjoying the moist breeze from the Black Lake direction, casually partaking of the food and drinks on the table – quite pleasant indeed.

"Next week is the final round, and this Triwizard Tournament will be over. When that time comes, everyone fights for themselves – no one should go easy on anyone else. I don't believe that after first place once, first place twice, you can keep getting first place every time!"

Seeing Fleur's pointed gaze, Sean smiled and said, "Fleur, you're being quite targeted here."

"I'm targeting you specifically!"

Krum watched Sean and Fleur banter, smiled, and said, "Actually, I'm not that eager to win the championship. I just enjoy the feeling of competing. I heard the third round's danger far exceeds the previous two rounds. You two must prepare well and be careful."

Hearing this, Sean knew Krum must know something.

Fleur also sensed something. She hesitated, looked at Krum, then at Sean, finally whispering, "The third-round competition venue might cause people to lose their way. I think you should also prepare accordingly."

"The third round might be a super-large project with maze elements and some Dark magical creatures."

After Sean spoke, the three had essentially shared what each could reveal. They hadn't reached the level of complete openness – at least Sean and Krum hadn't. If not for their shared experience fighting together in the second round, they probably wouldn't even have this level of communication.

The three ate, drank, and chatted about amusing incidents at their respective schools before parting to prepare for the final third-round competition.

Sean returned to the common room. As soon as he entered, he saw many Slytherins gathered there, all cheering for him.

Blaise, Andy, and Jensen approached, directly telling Sean, "This was everyone's spontaneous idea – to hold a celebration before your competition."

"Celebrating before the competition even happens?"

"Everyone thinks you can win the championship, and we think so too. Celebrating in advance seems fine to me."

"Alright, let's celebrate then."

This was ultimately the Slytherins' goodwill, and Sean couldn't refuse.

After the celebration, it was already evening. Sean returned to his bed, but his mind kept flowing with various chaotic memories. At first, during the celebration, Sean had been just going through the motions, but later, with the alcohol Blaise and others had secretly brought in, the atmosphere became increasingly lively. Having drunk quite a bit, Sean gradually let loose and eventually participated wholeheartedly – rarely, perhaps the only time since coming to Hogwarts that he completely set aside research and study to join in play.

Perhaps due to the alcohol's influence, although Sean had returned to the quiet dormitory, his brain remained chaotic, with countless memories and past knowledge continuously churning in his mind.

Gradually, Sean began to sense something was wrong. Just then, wisps of white mist appeared in Sean's pupils, and in that instant, Sean suddenly entered a state of spiritual sight!

This time, Sean didn't view the future from others' perspectives – his perspective was his own!

Past, present, future! Images from different time periods chaotically intercut and appeared in Sean's mind.

He saw his past self from his previous life, saw his current self as Sean, and also saw countless possibilities of his own future.

Finally, all these chaotic memories converged, seemingly organising and categorising themselves in Sean's mind. Simultaneously, in Sean's silver-grey pupils appeared a white halo.

The Bulstrode family's spiritual sight ability had officially awakened!

Slowly sitting up, Sean looked down at his own hands, his face full of surprise.

"Is this what Grandfather spoke of – eyes that can see the answers?"
