Aldrich was currently 10 years old. His baby sister had turned four that day.
His father was 37 and mother was 36.
His mother and father had eloped and has settled in this village. He never thought much about what his parent's life was like before having him.
Aldrich had sometimes seen his mother write letters and also argued with sebastian about returning somewhere. He never understood anything but slowly things were coming to him. He started to think. Maybe My grandfather is a Baron and my father ran away with mother after grandfather said no to father. It must have been because my father was a commoner.
Somewhere on a cliff from which the village could be seen." Finally after Nine years I have found you, Sebastian. " Unlike the rest of the people who were attacking the village he was not wearing a cloak, there was a sword scar running across his right eye. A human with Black scruffy hair paired with black eyes. He was filled with excitement and bloodlust. The man looked like he was in his Thirties. He was standing and his eyes gleamed as he saw that the village was slowly starting to be razed to the ground.
"Vice lord the preparation are complete. The lord has called for you." It was a demon.
"Very well."
Aldrich had reached his home where he saw his mother happily cradling her daughter.
He was panting.
Upon seeing him,
"What happened Aldrich?"
"Father has asked you to flee from the village."She was much more calmer than Aldrich expected as if she knew that this would happen one day.
After hearing everything from Aldrich,Ellie handed Elena to Aldrich and started packing stuff. She was ready about 5 minutes later. In her hand was her staff with a red gemstone. A pouch in which Aldrich though he saw a gold coin but immediately thought that it was impossible since his family never even had a silver coin much less 70 bronze coins.
Unknown to him was the fact that the pouch was infact filled with about 250 gold coins.
Taking Aldrich's hand she started on her way to leave the village.
On the other side half the village has been burned down and corpses were laying everywhere. People in cloaks were killing and burning everyone. Out of the 130 about 10 people were left.
Sebastian had left the chiefs house and was heading to the someplace where he felt the presence of someone he knew and was suddenly surrounded by four cloaked men. One of them seemed to know him.
The demon spoke
"Sebastian Germanicus, the strongest swordsman of Greymount. Hiding from the entire world for about 11 years. Finally, we have found you."
Another spoke
"This will be your final resting place. Greatest Swordsman, our lord shall finish you with your family."
Sebastian was wearing a Green Tunic with a
Brown Breech. He used a Longsword. Not any longsword but the Germanicus family's Longsword.
Two of the cloaked were human, one was a demon andthe other was a elf.The two humans rushed towards him with their cutlass.
Sebastian unsheathed his sword and sung his sword once. The force of him slashing his sword was enough to take them both out.
They were hit by a a force unseen by them.
The demon lurged forward while the elf was busy casting a spell.
The demon threw a left uppercut and was parried to his left and given a jab to his face.
He was unconscious. The elf was about to complete casting his spell but did not even realize he was hit by the hilt of the longsword. It all happened in an instant.
'I just hope that she left with the kids.'
About 150 cloaked people had attacked the village . The entire village was now burning.
Everyone except the Germanicus family was dead. Sebastian and Ellie were respectively taking out the cloaked people.
Aldrich watched as his mother took down the
fortieth person who had tried to attack them with a fireball which was as big as him.
He noticed some new things- his mother was wearing two new rings, he had never seen the staff before and never even expected that his mother had it, she was wearing a cloak with a uniqueness crest on the back.
The first person who had attacked had said something about his mother being the heir of the Roseate family and something about hiding for 11 years. He wanted to ask his mother but was busy holding his sister and running for his life.
'So my grandfather is a Baron.... So are we of the upper class?...
The were on their way outside the village towards the inner part of the human
kingdom. While passing some of the house Aldrich saw some familar faces burning.
The kids whom he played with. He teared up but then he started feeling a pain in his chest. It stopped after a while.
'Huh... Have i run too much but i've never understand too much before so why today. Aahhh' In his head a lock had been open.
"Where is Sebastian?" An old man with grey hair and a beard holding a staff with a black stone.
"Lord he is heading towards the north of the village."
Tell Valdis that he is ordered to fight Sebastian."
"As you wish."
"And make it quick we do not need Sebastian finding us before we have attacked him and immobilised him."
"About a year went into planning this. I will make sure to remove that entire bloodline from their roots. And overthrow each and every one of those royal bastards."
