Hollow World, First layer.
Grey followed closely behind Miraluz, her four powerful wings beating with precise control.
The altered gravity of this subterranean realm posed no challenge to her; she adapted instantly, each movement flowing naturally with the environment.
Her scales gleamed faintly in the dim light, reflecting the strange radiance of the inner world.
Other dinosaurs were not as fortunate.
Their massive frames collided with jagged rocks and uneven terrain.
King Kong tumbled more than once, the ground shaking with each thud, before finally finding his footing.
Covered in dust and grime, he paused, absorbing the surreal beauty of the place, a cavernous expanse of luminescent crystals and flowing molten channels that seemed alive.
Yet, more than awe, something was stirring within him: a sense of familiarity that pricked at his instincts, an invisible pull guiding him toward some unknown destination.
"King Kong, what's wrong?"
Miraluz asked, his voice a low rumble that resonated across the rocky expanse.
He rubbed the back of his head, uncertainty in his massive eyes.
"It feels… like something is calling me. Something… waiting for me in that direction."
Miraluz's gaze sharpened.
Ancient instincts whispered to him as well.
The artifact of the Kong clan, the energy battle axe forged from the spines of the Gojira clan, was hidden somewhere in this world.
If King Kong had sensed it, she would not have allowed any hesitation to delay them.
"Lead the way. We'll follow," she commanded.
His voice carried authority, but also trust, a rare thing Miraluz offered only to those he considered family.
The dinosaurs of the Jurassic Alliance quickly regrouped, forming a loose formation around King Kong.
Miraluz flew slightly above Grey, scanning the surroundings with his senses.
Every vibration, every shift in the air, every faint glow could signal danger.
The inner world's gravity was only one factor in shaping the Titans; radiation from the core amplified their abilities, filling every cell with energy.
"Radiation levels are off the charts," Miraluz muttered, inhaling deeply.
The radioactive particles coursed through his body, invigorating his body.
His scales seemed to glow faintly from within.
Grey mirrored him, wings vibrating with anticipation, and even King Kong felt the energy seep into his bones, a warmth that made him feel alive in a way the surface world never had.
Suddenly, a ripple in the air.
Danger.
"Monsters approaching!" Miraluz's roar cut through the subterranean expanse.
Two colossal shadows moved with terrifying speed from opposite directions.
Hissing filled the cavern, a chilling sound that echoed and reverberated, bouncing off the crystal walls.
Two winged serpents, easily a hundred meters long each, streaked toward them.
Their red membranous wings flexed with deadly precision, claws slicing the air.
Their fangs, over four meters long, dripped with venom potent enough to fell a Titan in minutes.
Scales glittered ominously in the faint light, small needle-like teeth glinting, capable of shredding flesh as easily as paper.
"They're snakes," Miraluz said, his eyes narrowing.
"Beta-class Titans. Fast, airborne, and venomous. Grey, Kong, you handle them. I have a feeling this will get messy."
Grey's wings unfurled, stretching wide as she charged.
King Kong bellowed, fists smashing into the rocky ground, sending tremors that unsettled the approaching snakes.
"Let's dance!" Grey screeched, speed pushing her forward as she streaked toward the female serpent.
The flashes of her wings emitted dazzling radiance; the rainbow-like pulses were not just for show, but they interfered with the snake's heat-sensing capabilities, inducing hallucinations in the creature's mind.
The female snake lunged, jaws wide, fangs aimed for Grey's neck, but instead, her teeth tore into a tree trunk, shattering it with a thunderous crack.
Hallucinations.
Grey smirked internally, circling behind her prey.
She focused the energy in her wings, intensifying the radiance.
Rainbow pulses condensed into sharp beams, striking the snake's wings.
The female shrieked, venom dripping as its balance faltered.
Grey's massive claws came down like hammers from the sky, crushing the head with precision.
Blood sprayed across the cavern floor, a sickly green mist rising in the glow of molten rock.
King Kong was already engaged with the male snake, slamming into it with tremendous force.
Each blow from his massive fists shook the ground, sending fragments of rock and dust into the air.
Yet the serpent was agile, twisting its long body, snapping its jaws, attempting to coil around the ape.
One strike grazed King Kong's shoulder, leaving a deep cut, venom burning slightly through his thick skin.
