Leo got back to his unit late, dropped his bag by the door, and went straight to the bathroom to freshen up.
The shoot had ended more than 3 hours ago, but he had passed by Sofia's place, which had led to him being late.
He came out a few minutes later in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, phone in hand, scrolling through his timeline without really reading any of it.
After a second, he snapped his head up from his phone and then stood silently in the middle of the room for a moment.
And all he could think in that moment was that it felt smaller than it used to.
He remembered the first time he'd walked into this unit, how it had felt like proof of something, like a room that said you're going in the right direction in a way that nothing else had at the time.
Dawson had brought him here, and the room had felt enormous at the time, but now, it just felt like something he had outgrown.
