Outside of the cave he finally step outside's surface but as soon as he look around, he saw his grandpa and as he noticed his grandson he shouted and said--
" No!, Rev Run! "
At his grandpa's roar Rev saw a double size of grey wolf, it has long sharp claws, a color of grey with red furs, as it turned its head towards Rev. It snarls and jump--
The big grey wolf prepared its wide jaw and dash towards Rev, his grandpa and Wrath shouted his name to move out of the way while the soldiers can only panic in fear. The shadow of the big grey wolf closely covering Rev's body but then a burst of a stomp from his grandpa's foot and jump, swung the big broad sword.
At the corner of its eyes the big grey wolf sensed it and quickly backs away, landing smoothly on the ground. Rev's grandpa attack miss but thanks to him Rev was safe.
" Rev! are you okay? "
" Uh... Yeah thanks grandpa "
" Anyway, I'm glad that you're safe but... how did you even survive that fall without even scratch in your body. "
" That's... " Rev hesitate to speak and his grandpa sigh
" Sighs... nevermind, I need you to back away and group with my troops there "
Rev's grandpa pointed to the direction where the soldiers where standing with defense stance as he want his grandson to help the other injured soldiers to get away from the fight.
The leader of the grey wolf seems to be already in par of common rare class, Rev's grandpa explained quickly the other situation that happened to them, he understood it and nodded.
Rev then run towards the soldiers, the leader noticed it but the old man, Rev's grandpa didn't give it any seconds to move as he dash and swung his big broad sword. It jumped away and the old man hit the ground shattered with the impact, then both of them dash forward to strike an attacks, swaying the big sword and blocking by the sharp hard claws. They keep on attacking each other but Rev noticed that his grandpa was still not serious about showing his full strength.
As he was attack, dodging it sideways, the leader of the grey wolf seems agitated and jump away, started to cast something. Rev's grandpa noticed that and a flash of bolt lighting went toward him. He then grin, as the body started to glow in red, coated in his body he block the incoming waves of lighting, unscathed.
Rev's grandpa turns away to keep the distance of the continuous attack of lighting. Rev who watches his grandpa expresses a astonished gaped mouth. He was amazed on how he's dealing with the leader of the grey wolf as he also understands that his grandpa, must have use aura and coated onto his body. Whereas it also gives a boost of strength and speed, at that, his grandpa's straight face looks more serious which he doesn't want to drag the fight anymore.
Leaping up, the old man strengthens his arm and coated esence on his big broad sword, swayed away the bolt of lightning and vanished instantly. He then dash and swayed his big sword toward the grey wolf leader at the head but it was blocked by something, a barrier. The old man scoffed and shouted, forcing more strength to push back the grey wolf leader. It started to break and jump away but the old man followed it by a strong attack.
He swung his big broad sword and an incoming of a three red wave of a wide cleaver, directing at the grey wolf leader 's body. It slashed, ripping the body, the old man let out a scoff and smiled.
" You really are a nimble one, leader of the grey wolf "
The old man give a appreciation towards the dead grey wolf leader as he's saying that it dodges very well from his barrage of physical attacks despite being a class of a common rare.
" Grandpa are you okay!? "
Rev who was running to approach his grandpa give a shout of concern.
" Oho... are you worried about me? "
" Ugh!... of course not! "
Out of embarrassment he denied and acted in a harsh way, his grandpa laughed aloud with his left hand on the waist, standing akimbo.
Later on the soldiers rest for a while and patch their light wounds as they collect the remaining dead grey wolf core crystals and of course their leader's core crystal too. Rev give a look on the leader's grey wolf core crystal, he wants it badly because that would increase his mana pool if he absorb it, but he can't just say give it to me from his grandpa since he didn't even do anything but watch. His grandpa noticed his grandson's expression and smiled.
" Do you want it? "
" Eh? well..."
" Here, catch "
He throw it to his grandson
" Wait, W-Why are you giving this to me? "
" Why? why are you asking such obvious question? "
" Well... I didn't do anything at all or are you trying to say that I should absorb this? when I didn't even reach the age of fourteen? "
" Your questions are advance but, Yes "
His grandpa scoffed it away, he just wanted to give it as a gift even though he knows that his grandson cannot still absorb a core crystal, he insisted that Rev should use it once he will reach fourteen years old. Hearing that made Rev feel guilty a little bit as he really can absorb a core crystal, thanks to his emblem's mark. In any case he expresses a manner to thank his grandpa.
" By the way I'm happy that you weren't hurt but... how did you even managed to survive that fall? "
" Eh? that's... " He flinch in slight nervous and fall to a silence for a seconds and continue.
" Tha-That's because I use my sword and stab it on the wall as it gradually reduces the velocity speed which is like digging a scratch to grip the wall "
" Huh? I don't really get it but... are you trying to say that you use your sword to stab the wall to slow down your descent while falling? "
" Ye-Yeah!... something like that "
His grandpa nodded, understanding the situation that his grandson pulled off something incredible to survive in an accident of pitfall. He then laughed proudly while slapping his grandson at the back and Rev coughed each slap that he took.
" That's really amazing as expected of my grandson no kid can pull that off you know "
" Haha.... maybe? "
" Hm?, "
His grandpa look down and noticed that his grandson's sword was nowhere in his waist or hand and also realized how he got out in the cave.
" Rev you said that you use your sword right? but.... where is your sword and where did you come out from? "
" !! Tha-That's..."
Rev flinched and started to get nervous again while Wrath, just showed up right from his young master's side, listening intently to the conversation. He doesn't even want to help because he finds it amusing, getting interrogated. Rev tried to talk and stammer his word but he continued to explain that his sword broke right after he descended on the ground and added that he got just lucky finding a way out of the cave.
With that, Rev give a convinced statement, smiling awkwardly. His grandpa the old man lifted his chin still in doubt, but he laugh it off while he didn't really understand what his grandson meant. As long as his grandson is alive that is more important, is what his grandpa expresses.
Reaching the cold night, they got back at the manor and greeted by maids.
At Rev's room he hurriedly took out the pouch and opened it, aside from the core crystal of the grey wolves leader there were four more, but simply core crystals of normal grey wolves that he got as an additional gift from his grandpa. That made Rev smile and he started to undergo the process, absorbing the core crystals while his at it, he called out Wrath to survey outside of his door and to inform back if someone will come by.
Rev was done on absorbing the core crystals and feels like he got stronger, in addition his mana pool increases.
"This is... incredible the core crystal of the leader's grey wolves greatly increase my mana then... that means I can now use some of your abilities and traits right Wrath? "
Wrath appeared as it pass the door like a ghost and shake his head.
" Unfortunately young master your still far from that, the amount of your mana that you felt increases is really a great achievement, but for me, simply it is still low "
" Ugh... seriously... just how strong you are "
" Fufufu.... are you already amazed about how great I am even though you still didn't saw my abilities and traits? "
" Sigh... Yeah, yeah you are great... on watching and talking, O great Wrath "
Wrath stumbled upon his balance as a little shock at what he just heard from his young master's sarcastic joke. It is Rev's first achievement as a nine years old kid. Once he reach fourteen years old there will be something unsealed. How much more he could grow. Wrath who pondered watches his young master who fall asleep in the bed with a smile on his face.

A year has passed and Rev became ten years old, that was the beginning of his journey since he started to understand the basics of what he can do and what capable of the abilities and attributes that he can gain with the emblem he has.
He didn't also stop his daily life activities as he managed to use comfortably the weapons that he is usually struggling with. For the books he already read one third of the big shelf in the Manor's library and he still has a long way to finish all of the whole books that surround him. Taking a break, Rev sip a cup of tea and sighs.
"Wrath.... 4 months ago did you remember how Orm eat all of the core crystals in the mountain which I defeated all of the slimes and horned rabbit in that area? "
" Hmm.... if you are talking about how Orm absorb all of the core crystals then yes "
" Yes.... that's right... Orm... is... Orm is just a glutton!! how do heck that she's a spirit beast serpent and princess huh?! "
" Well.. to be the truth you forgot to feed Orm--- ahem... Right she's a princess then I need to address and respect her title. Since you were busy taking care of Kirpy, as I said you forgot to feed princess Orm right? that would only be the reason. After defeating those monsters and summoned Princess Orm she probably thought that you were giving the core crystals at her. "

4 months ago Rev went to the mountains, supposedly to find a mana crystals, but instead when roaming around he find few watery light blue monsters, it was called slimes.
There he approach it and it dash to attack him but Rev easily defeated it.
As the remaining slimes saw that they went together to attack and the result is the same with just a punch and kick from Rev they were swat away on the trees, disperse like a water on the ground. The core crystals show, but the size were just like a pebble. Rev was disappointed, but yeah, that would be obvious since it is a low level of monster, at that he continued to look around and saw a trail of watery substance then followed it.
Rev saw a river and a low level types of monsters, slimes that fought with another monster, a rabbit like appearance with long horn, it was called horned rabbit. They were scattered everywhere as each one of them fought each other, some horned rabbits suffocate from the slimes who were trying to devour them while the opposite keeps on dashing and strike their horns.
Which the slimes were splattered away by the horned rabbits attack, one by one after killing each other, the core crystals shows visible on the ground.
There, Rev stepped up, as he couldn't watch anymore, he shouted to gain their attention they then dash towards him to attack. Wrath who appeared on his side warned him about the horned rabbits.
" They may be small monsters, but they are still quite quick to harm an awakened beginner "
For Rev, he might be a beginner but he has gained more fighting experience, he dodged the attacks and move his hand on his waist to grab the dagger, slashing the horned rabbits and slimes.
