The next day, Shichen began taking everyone to the Adventurers' Guild to register as adventurers.
This world was ridiculously broken—but it had one fatal requirement: you had to register and obtain an adventurer card.
It was basically this world's ID. Without it, the world wouldn't "recognize" you, and you couldn't properly gain its power.
It wasn't a big problem. Even if they weren't native to this world, thanks to Shichen they could still obtain a valid identity here.
Shichen could adapt to any world, and they were his blood companions.
There were too many people—and they were all gorgeous—so Shichen couldn't exactly bring everyone in at once.
Frieren was already registered, and Megumi was resting at home, so Shichen brought Chisato's group first.
Four people: Chisato Nishikigi, Takina Inoue, Utaha Kasumigaoka, and Eriri.
Tohru stayed behind to deal with some household clutter.
Megumin and the others didn't come either—Shichen simply brought the four of them to the Adventurers' Guild.
It was as lively as ever. The inside was loud—adventurers drinking, counter staff working.
Two zones, clearly separated.
"Oh? Isn't that our hero?"
"The hero of our starter town is back!"
"I heard noise at that villa yesterday—so it's true!"
"Shichen! Come drink with us!"
"Treat us!"
"Who are those girls? Why are they so pretty?!"
"Did Shichen change party members?"
"Where are Aqua and the others?"
"Honestly, yeah… those girls were totally holding him back…"

"Shichen-nii, you're really popular," Chisato said with a grin.
"You're famous," Utaha added, looping her arm around Shichen's.
That single move made the guild erupt.
"Me too!" Chisato immediately hugged his other arm.
"Wooo—!" Everyone got even more excited.
They were insanely jealous, but the scene was also just fun to watch.
"Y-You've got everyone staring…" Eriri muttered—though she couldn't hide the envy in her eyes.
"Aw, look, someone doesn't have the courage," Utaha teased.
"Kasumigaoka Utaha…" Eriri ground her teeth.
With strangers around, Eriri really wasn't as bold as she was that night. When they were alone, she had plenty of nerve—and she'd even take the initiative.
After all, she drew doujinshi. Poses came naturally to her.
Shichen loved "quenching his thirst," and Eriri was so delicate—like cherry blossoms—right there in front of him.
"Takina, want to?" Chisato asked Inoue Takina.
"I'm good," Takina said, pursing her lips as she refused.
"Embarrassed?" Chisato teased.
"You're so annoying…"
Shichen didn't join their teasing or sharing. He just waved at everyone and greeted them.
Even though only a month had passed in this world, Shichen hadn't merely lived one month.
The faces here were still familiar. It felt nostalgic. They were rough around the edges, but honestly, they were good people.
"Not today—tomorrow I'll drink with you guys. I'm here to get them registered first. But I'll cover today's tabs for you."
"Wooo—!"
To the adventurers, that was even more exciting than watching a love triangle.
Shichen smiled and led them to the counter.
"Shichen-san…"
The staff member behind the counter was Luna—the most popular woman in the guild, and someone who had feelings for Shichen.
Unfortunately for her, it was one-sided. Shichen just didn't feel that spark with her.
"Long time no see, Luna," Shichen said with a small smile.
"Long time no—" Luna's face tightened as she stared at Utaha and the others, especially their arms wrapped around Shichen.
From this close, her eyes were practically warping.
Another woman?!
And all of them were gorgeous?!
And they were that close to Shichen-san?!
"Sooo… who are they?" Luna asked, forcing herself to sound calm.
"Oh, them? New party members. This is Kasumigaoka Utaha, this is Nishikigi Chisato, this is Inoue Takina, and this is Eriri."
"They're… certainly unique names."
"Yeah, but still better than the Crimson Demons."
"That's true… but what about Aqua and the others? You're not partying with them anymore?"
"They're still my teammates. They're just taking a break for now."
"Taking a break…" Luna froze, then her thoughts spiraled into something alarming.
Not adventuring because of… physical reasons? Adventurers didn't really have that excuse—most things could be healed.
But for female adventurers…?
Teams had male adventurers too.
The simplest "physical reason" was: a growing belly—hard to fight while pregnant.
"They wouldn't be…?" Luna started, hesitating.
"Wouldn't be what?" Shichen asked, puzzled.
"N-No, it's nothing…" Luna shook her head and decided not to ask.
She didn't have the right to.
"Anyway—help them register as adventurers."
"Understood… I'll go get the cards." Luna stood and went to fetch them.
After she left, Utaha leaned in and said, "That woman totally likes you."
"I know," Shichen nodded.
"Then why not take her too? She's pretty."
"No chemistry," Shichen said, shaking his head.
"Seriously?" Utaha blinked, surprised.
Chisato and the others also looked at him in shock.
"What's with those faces… I'm not someone who falls for every pretty girl I see," Shichen shot them a look.
"Aren't you, though?" Utaha countered.
"Yeah, we're living proof," Chisato added.
"No. You guys are different," Shichen said with a smile.
"We're different?"
"Hard to explain. Just know you're special."
"We're special…" Takina murmured, her eyes bright.
"We're special…" Eriri also couldn't help smiling.
"You two are ridiculously easy," Utaha sighed.
"I'm being honest," Shichen said seriously.
"I know you are. But your definition of 'special' is… a bit too broad," Utaha said with a sweet smile.
"Well… I can't help it."
He'd seen a lot. So he ended up liking a lot. In the end, it was because they were just that charming.
"Only you can say that so shamelessly," Utaha said, shaking her head.
"Hehe—Shichen-nii is Shichen-nii," Chisato laughed.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Means you're hopelessly lovable."
"You… honestly."
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Luna returned at that moment.
She came back behind the counter, handed them their adventurer cards, and began explaining.
Chisato and the others touched the cards, and their aptitudes appeared.
"W-What…?!" Luna's eyes went blank. She couldn't even speak.
It took her a long moment to recover, whispering under her breath:
"Almost… maxed across the board…"
When Shichen's group left, the guild was in an uproar—Luna's reaction had been too obvious, and everyone had been watching.
Utaha and the others' stats had been exposed.
Genius-level rookies like that couldn't not cause a sensation. Fortunately, with Shichen there, nobody dared try to poach them.
A man who could defeat Demon King generals wasn't someone they could offend.
After leaving, Shichen didn't go home. He took them out to level up and hunt monsters.
They all chose the Adventurer class—because they could learn anything.
Adventurer was the lowest-tier class, but Shichen being an Adventurer had already changed people's perception of it.
And the truly shocking part… was only just beginning.
The next day, Shichen brought another group to register.
This time: Jeanne, Tohru, Kanna, and Ai Hoshino.
When Luna saw another set—still all girls—she felt something was off.
Of course. "Party members."
Day three, Shichen brought Kurumi Tokisaki, Tohka Yatogami, and Tenka Yatogami.
Day four: Kotori Itsuka, Origami Tobiichi, Yoshino, and Natsumi Kyouno.
Day five: Kurumi, Sawa, Miku Izayoi, and Nia Honjou.
Day six: Kaguya, Yuzuru…
Day seven: Irisviel, Artoria…
For over ten days, it was nonstop—different girls every time, each one prettier than the last.
By then, the entire guild had gone numb.
Shichen didn't care. Once everyone was registered, he took them all adventuring.
In just a few days, their names spread everywhere—one sensational feat after another.
Demon King generals were cut down.
Unsurprisingly, their reputation reached the royal palace.
Half a month later, Shichen received a summons: the princess issued an order for him to come to the palace and recount his heroic deeds.
Shichen accepted.
That had been one of his goals from the start.
His encounters with others… were only just beginning.
And the future was still long.
