Chapter 28 - CHAPTER 28 – THE ARRANGEMENT (2)

Within the cabin of the ship, Solanky and his team sat around the dashboard positioned at the center of the room. Solanky tapped his wristband and swiped toward the dashboard, causing a detailed map and information about the Blue Ice Region to appear. The team carefully examined the display before Light Seeker instructed the ship's intelligence to read the information aloud.

"Reading the complete details of the Blue Ice Region.

"The Blue Ice Region is a starfield within the Harmagin World Cluster, which falls under the supervision of the Tenth-Dimensional God, Lord Nazaid. The Blue Ice Region spans two hundred thousand light-years and contains approximately one billion life-bearing planets. It is the coldest region in the Harmagin World Cluster because all of its stars are failed stars. In the distant past, a great being at the level of a Source God rewrote the operation of every star within this region, preventing them from undergoing nuclear fusion. This directly defied the laws of physics, as every other region surrounding the Blue Ice Region possesses normally burning stars."

Solanky and his teammates were stunned. They already knew how vast the Blue Ice Region was, but hearing that a single Source God had altered the fundamental laws governing every star across such an enormous region was beyond imagination.

The intelligence continued.

"Within the Blue Ice Region, temperatures in open space can drop as low as two degrees Celsius. Despite the absence of burning stars, the Source God ensured that the inhabited planets maintained warm climates, with the hottest regions reaching eighty-seven degrees Celsius. This is achieved because the energy generated by living beings and natural objects is absorbed into each planet's core before being redistributed as heat through countless geothermal vents spread across nearly every planet."

"The planet you have been assigned to is Planet Dorvan. Your mission is to reside there while overseeing the planet. Planet Dorvan has a total surface area of seven hundred and three million square kilometers, with eighty percent of its surface covered by thick ice. Its native inhabitants are known as the Dorvians. Adult males have an average height of 1.82 meters, while females average 1.78 meters. Their body structure is almost identical to that of humans, except that they possess dense body hair that protects them from the extreme cold."

A holographic image appeared in midair, displaying both a male and a female Dorvian.

They looked remarkably similar to ordinary humans, possessing two arms and two legs. However, their bodies were covered in thick coats of hair. The female's coat appeared silky and smooth, while the male's was noticeably rougher and denser.

Solanky looked at his teammates before speaking.

"The sect gave each of us a transformation pill. Once we swallow it, we'll look exactly like the Dorvians. I asked why such a thing was necessary, and they told me this is a secret mission. We have to blend in with the locals while hunting down Devil Race spies without raising any alarms."

Before anyone else could react, Tee snatched one of the pills from Solanky's hand and swallowed it.

Her body immediately began to transform. Her bones shifted, her facial features changed, and thick, silky fur gradually covered her body until she became identical to the female Dorvian shown in the projection.

Star God looked at her curiously.

"How do you feel now? Is your cultivation still the same? Can you still circulate your bloodline energy and use your magical power?"

"Of course," Tee replied. "I can still use my magical power perfectly, but this body feels a little restrictive. It'll probably take some time to get used to it."

"The sect also sent everyone a manual," Solanky said. "Read it first. It explains how to fully control the transformed body."

The group quickly read through the manual before taking their own pills from Solanky.

One after another, they transformed into Dorvians.

Finally, Solanky swallowed his pill and completed his own transformation.

After examining everyone, he nodded in satisfaction.

"We also need a team name," he said. "I can't think of anything better right now, so we'll have to use the one assigned by the sect."

"'Blue Star Team.'"

Tee and Light Seeker exchanged helpless smiles.

"We definitely need a better name after we've settled in," they said almost simultaneously.

Not long afterward, the ship entered Planet Dorvan's atmosphere.

"We must not interfere with the lives of the real Dorvians," Solanky reminded everyone. "According to the intelligence database, the Devil Race spies have also disguised themselves. More importantly, no one is allowed to scan the planet using divine or spiritual sense. Doing so could expose our identities to the powerful devils hiding throughout Planet Dorvan."

He instructed the ship to land in a secluded area roughly five kilometers away from the nearest settlement.

The ship descended smoothly before touching down within a dense ice forest.

After everyone disembarked, Solanky stored the ship inside his storage ring.

Following the map provided by the sect, the Blue Star Team carefully navigated through the frozen forest, avoiding the dangerous regions marked along the route.

The journey itself was uneventful.

Eventually, they emerged from the forest and stood atop a hill overlooking a massive city below.

Countless vehicles moved through the skies and along the roads, giving the city an atmosphere of constant activity.

As they entered the city, they found themselves surrounded by advanced technology. Towering skyscrapers stretched into the sky, while numerous buildings floated gracefully above the ground.

Since evening was approaching and accommodations would become harder to find after nightfall, they entered one of the tallest skyscrapers in search of lodging.

The moment they stepped into the reception hall, everyone was taken aback.

The interior was far larger than the building's exterior suggested. The walls and floors were adorned with polished marble and countless precious gemstones, giving the place an extravagant appearance.

Solanky approached the receptionist.

"We need seven rooms."

The receptionist smiled politely.

"Certainly, sir. Payment first."

Solanky calmly placed seven crimson spirit stones on the counter.

The receptionist's eyes widened.

His attitude changed instantly.

Without hesitation, he stopped processing every other customer's reservation and personally handled the Blue Star Team's check-in.

His smile became noticeably warmer as he handed Solanky seven access cards before immediately requesting that management dispatch a service robot to escort the guests to their rooms.

Moments later, a robot arrived and respectfully guided the Blue Star Team to their accommodations.

After Solanky and his teammates left, the receptionist received a call from management.

"Why did you request a service robot?" the caller demanded. "Those are reserved only for our wealthiest guests. A customer normally needs to spend one hundred yellow spirit stones, equivalent to one hundred thousand lower realm gold coins, before qualifying."

Without saying a word, the receptionist raised the seven crimson spirit stones toward the surveillance camera.

The call ended immediately.

Only seconds later, the phone rang again.

This time, it was the head manager himself.

The receptionist answered respectfully.

"Who brought those crimson spirit stones?" the manager asked.

The receptionist immediately sent him an image of Solanky and the rest of the Blue Star Team.

"They're the ones."

"Do we have any background information on them?"

"No, sir."

"Treat them as VIPs regardless."

The manager ended the call.

Inside his office, he leaned back in deep thought.

"How can people who look so ordinary possess this level of wealth? I don't even know where they came from."

He looked again at the image of the seven crimson spirit stones.

"With these alone, we can clear all of the hotel's outstanding debts and even purchase new equipment. Inflation has driven the value of crimson spirit stones to unprecedented levels. A single crimson spirit stone is now worth one billion yellow spirit stones."

Inside his room, Solanky quietly spread out his spiritual sense while activating his eye technique.

He immediately discovered fifteen concealed cameras and microphones hidden throughout the suite.

He calmly tapped his wristband and activated a signal jammer, rendering every surveillance device useless.

Afterward, he contacted the rest of his teammates and instructed them to do the same in their own rooms.

When hotel security noticed that every surveillance device had suddenly gone offline, one of the guards prepared to confront the guests.

However, after checking the Blue Star Team's guest profile and seeing their VIP status, he silently backed away.

VIP guests were entitled to complete privacy, and people wealthy enough to spend crimson spirit stones were the least likely to steal anything.

Later that evening, Solanky and the rest of the Blue Star Team gathered on the highest floor of the skyscraper.

From there, the panoramic view of the city was breathtaking.

To everyone else, it appeared as though they had simply come to admire the night skyline.

In reality, they had entirely different intentions.

Each of them set up telescopes and binoculars along the balconies.

These were no ordinary observation tools. They had been personally given to them by one of their ancestors and inscribed by the Sect Master himself, allowing them to observe distances and details far beyond the capabilities of ordinary equipment.

One by one, they began surveying the districts surrounding the hotel before gradually expanding their search across the city, carefully watching for any suspicious activity or hidden traces of devils and demons.
