William slowly opened his eyes.
Blurred faces. Loud voices. Too many people.
Kristen : wiping the saliva from her lips
Everyone : Tensed face , cause , it was literally a kiss
In lupesia
William (softly):
"…Why is everyone looking like I owe them money?" 😑
King richard:
"William! My son!"
Doctors panicked happily.
Doctor:
"A miracle! The prince has awakened!" 😱
Rowan:
"I knew he would. I prayed once." 😎
Leo:
"You screamed once too." 😑
William slowly sat up. Calm. Elegant. Composed.
Then his eyes landed on Kristen, standing with arms crossed like she owned the room.
William:
"And who might this be?"
Kristen:
"The reason you're not dead." 😤
William looked at her quietly… then gave a small respectful nod.
William:
"Then I owe you my thanks."
The whole room froze.
Kristen:
"…Huh?" 😶
William:
"You helped when others could not. I am grateful."
Kristen blinked twice.
Kristen (thinking):
"What the… polite? Where is the arrogance?!" 😶
Rowan whispered to Leo:
"She looks confused."
Leo:
"She was prepared to fight. He said thank you." 😑
William gently moved his legs off the bed.
Doctor:
"Your Highness, please rest!"
William:
"I have rested enough unwillingly."
He stood… slightly weak. Kristen instinctively moved forward to support him, then stopped halfway.
Kristen (thinking):
"Why did I move? Control yourself." 😤
William noticed, but pretended not to. Gentleman mode fully active.
to the doctors:
William:
"You have worked hard. Thank you all."
Doctors nearly cried.
Doctor:
"He thanked us…" 😭
Rowan:
"He does that. It's unsettling at first." 😌
William then faced Kristen again.
William:
"If it is not troublesome… may I know your name?"
Kristen:
"…Kristen Ramrizz."
The room became tense. Campbell and Ramrizz names together.
William didn't react badly at all.
Instead, he smiled faintly.
William:
"Then Miss Kristen Ramrizz, it seems fate has better taste than politics."
Kristen's brain stopped working for three seconds. 😶
Kristen (thinking):
"What kind of sentence was that?!" 😱
Leo quietly to Rowan:
"She's gone."
Rowan:
"Our brother has begun hunting accidentally." 😎
William noticed dust on Kristen's sleeve.
William:
"You came in a hurry… and through trouble."
Kristen:
"So?" 😤
William removed a clean handkerchief and offered it politely.
William:
"So you should not carry the dust alone."
Kristen stared at the cloth like it was magic.
Kristen (thinking):
"Why is this man behaving like sunlight?" 😶❤️
She snatched it aggressively.
Kristen:
"Fine. I'll borrow it. Don't misunderstand." 😤
William:
"I wouldn't dare." 😊
Rowan:
"Ohhh."
Leo:
"It has started."
Kristen:
"Shut up, both of you!" 😤
