DEVIS HOUSE –
The room went dead silent for a moment.
Everyone: 😱 "What?!"
Eric, still trembling but trying to act confident, raised his head.
Eric:
"Good thing Ma'am Amber came just in time…
she took care of all three of them herself and rescued me!"
He glanced around, voice shaking slightly.
"And if she wasn't there… I… I wouldn't be here now!" 😭
Actually Eric is not that scared, he is used to it but , if he didn't act like crying ,they will not believe him
Everyone: 😱
Eric wiped his tears and said, trying to sound casual:
Eric:
"I'm still scared… so… I'll sleep with Ma'am Amber tonight." 😐
Everyone: 😶
Eric:
"Okay then… bye!" 😁
And with that, he dashed out of the room, leaving everyone staring.
Everyone, muttering:
"So… this was all a drama?" 😒
Megan pinched the bridge of her nose.
Megan:
"So he planned all this?" 😒
Emily, pouting:
"But Mom… it's true though… someone actually came to school and took Eric, saying he was his uncle…" 🙁
Megan: 😶
"Wait… seriously?"
Lussy, grinning:
"So that's why we called Aunt Amber today…" 🙁
At that moment, a familiar figure appeared at the doorway.
Megan: 😡 "Where the heck is that MF uncle ?!"
Nattalie, smiling mysteriously:
"Dead. 😏"
Everyone froze for a second, then Lussy's face lit up.
Lussy: 😁
"MOM!"
She ran forward and hugged her tightly.
Nattalie: 😊
"How are you, dear?"
Lussy: 😶
"Are you… really okay?"
Nattalie: 😊
"Yes, I'm fine."
They hugged again, warmth and relief washing over both of them.
Then Nattalie looked around at everyone, a soft smile on her face.
Lussy :
"Shall we… go out?" 😁
Everyone looked at her, unsure, and then fell silent.
Mrs. Devis, cheerful but tired:
"So… why don't we have a family outing?
After everything that's happened, I think we deserve it." 😊
Lussy, bouncing with excitement:
"Really? Yeah!" 😁
Everyone else, grumbling: 😑
"Is this really necessary…?"
