HOSPITAL ROOM CHAOS
Inside Justin's hospital room…
Jonathan stood frozen, eyes wide, staring at the impossible scene in front of him.
Amber's hand was placed gently at the center of Justin's chest.
Every time her fingers touched the curse mark
The black veins reversed.
Curling back.
Disappearing.
Jonathan's jaw dropped.
Jonathan: "H–How… how is this happening…?" 😱
His voice cracked.
Justin heard him and looked up.
His eyes lit up instantly.
Justin: "Dad! Huggies!" 😁
He raised both arms up like a little kid asking to be picked.
(He was still 26 mentally…
but affection?
He was STARVED of it.
And for once, he wasn't hiding it.)
Jonathan's heart melted into a puddle.
He rushed forward and scooped Justin up in his arms.
Jonathan: "Are you okay? Does it still hurt? Tell me honestly." 😣
Justin: "Nope! Justin is strong! Nothing can beat me!" 😁💪
Jonathan's soul: my baby is so cute I can't breathe.
Amber's expression softened too.
Amber: That's my boy…
Both parents exchanged tiny, quiet smiles.
Justin looks around
Justin: "Where are the others?" 🤔
Jonathan: "At home. And good news you'll be discharged this evening." ☺️
Justin's face fell.
Justin: "So… I won't see this sister anymore…?" 😕
He pointed at Amber dramatically.
Jonathan blinked.
Jonathan: "S-Sister?" 😶
He turned to Amber with raised eyebrows.
Amber rubbed her neck with a tiny embarrassed smile.
Amber: "It's fine. And don't worry, dear…"
She leaned closer.
"I'm coming with you."
Justin's eyes sparkled.
Justin: "Really?!" 😁
Amber: "Mm-hmm. I'm your personal nurse until that black mark is completely gone."
(Her voice gentle… but she wasn't referring to herself as a real nurse. She meant mother.)
Justin: "YEAHHH!" 😁
He shook in excitement.
And that was exactly the problem.
Jonathan was still holding him.
Jonathan: "W–Wait, Justin I'm losing balance" 😨
Justin shook even more from excitement.
Jonathan stumbled.
Amber noticed.
Her eyes widened—
Amber: "Jonathan, wait—!"
She grabbed his wrist to stop him from falling.
But momentum was too strong.
All three of them
Jonathan, Justin, and Amber
fell together onto the hospital bed.
WHOOSH
THUMP
Justin landed between them like a sandwich.
Jonathan crashed on the left.
Amber crashed on the right.
The three of them paused… blinking at each other.
The nurse outside the room hearing the noise:
Nurse: "Should I… check on them?" 😨
