At Rias's house.
"Akeno, you're here." Rias said, sitting on her bed hugging her knees she wore a sad smile.
"I'm here." Akeno confirmed moving and sitting next to her and hugging her.
"So... How was your night?" She questioned, trying to distract herself.
"It went... well, we watched movies and fell asleep on the couch." Akeno said the same thing Ryu did.
"Aww... nothing else?"
"No, nothing else." Akeno confirmed, though she blushed when she figured out what Rias was implying.
"Rias!"
"What? I see the way you two are, I'm not blind." Rias smirked.
"...It's nothing... like that." Akeno was getting more and more nervous.
"I see... that's a shame." She then smirked, a plan formed in her mind. "I heard... from Issei and Asia that there was this girl... who was asking about Ryu yesterday, it seemed like she wanted to have him for herself..."
"That won't happen." Akeno said.
"Hm~ Why?"
"Because I won't allow-" Akeno froze.
"Because you won't allow what? Tell me Akeno... what're you planning?" Rias smiled further.
"N-Nothing, I'm not planning anything." Akeno looked away, with a red face.
"Hmmm... what a bad girl you've become, hiding things from your best friend. I guess Ryu completely seduced you and will soon take you away from me... it's just a matter of time isn't it?"
"RIAS!" Akeno couldn't take any more.
Rias let out a giggle, "I'm just joking..." the smile faded quickly, the atmosphere went gloomy once more.
"He's... coming, Akeno... on Monday." Rias squeaked out, her voice starting to tremble. "Hic... and I... don't want to but..."
"I'll... always be by your side, we'll figure something out. Trust me, Rias." Akeno consoled her, hugging her even tighter and bringing her face into her chest.
"I... don't know what I'd do without you... thank you for always being here. Truly, I couldn't have asked for a better friend..." Rias managed to squeak out, before she started sobbing into Akeno's shoulder while clinging to her.
"It's okay Rias, it'll be alright..." Akeno muttered, stroking Rias's head.
After exhausting herself, Rias slowly fell asleep in Akeno's arms, Akeno slowly laid Rias down on the bed, and she too took her place by her side holding her tightly, and stroking her head.
Even though Rias was asleep, tears were still streaming down her face.
Her own lips quivered, she shut her eyes and pulled Rias closer.
Akeno stayed there for a long time, holding her best friend until the tears finally... stopped.
Next morning.
Ryu was standing in the bathroom, looking at himself in the mirror, then he opened his mouth.
All of his teeth had been replaced.
Rows of razor sharp teeth that certainly didn't belong to a human were in his mouth, last night he woke up coughing out blood and the rest of his teeth.
Normally, humans have 32 teeth.
Ryu had 42, it caused some discomfort at first, but then he got used to it pretty soon. All of his teeth were fangs they belonged to a beast, a wild animal, not to a human.

"This is... kind of cool? But terrifying." Ryu was unsure what to think.
"What the hell... am I becoming?" He said, then started brushing his teeth.
He stopped and came out of the bathroom and into the kitchen.
"Now... just to make sure, I can... still eat regular food right?" Ryu muttered to himself and grabbed an apple.
He took a bite and....
It tasted just fine.
Ryu let out a sigh of relief then he finished the apple in just a couple bites.
"That's... good." He muttered and went into his room to get dressed and to go to school.
Ryu went inside School Grounds, and of course... came across Sona at the entrance.
"Hey, how're you this fine morning?" He asked.
"Good, and you?" Sona answered.
"Pretty good, thanks for asking."
"Heard you got smacked around quite a lot, you're looking pretty good."
"I always look good."
"Pff... good one Ryu, maybe you should try stand up comedy."
"How rude, don't talk to me anymore. Hmph!" Ryu turned his head away, and pouted like a child.
"...Don't ever do that again, you're a grown man." Sona said, cringing visibly.
"...Was a lot funnier in my head."
"Just... get to class."
Ryu got to class and sat down, and glanced towards his right Akeno and Rias were nowhere in sight.
Ryu shrugged, they were probablyy in The Occult Research Club Room... thing.
Soon the bell rang, and everyone sat down and got ready for some lessons.
No one cares though, so I'm not gonna write about the lesson.
The bell rang, and Ryu decided to go down and visit his friends.
"Ryu? What are you doing here?" Issei questioned, "You told me to come here sometime, so here I am." Ryu answered.
"Hi Ryu!" Asia waved at him, Ryu waved back with a smile.
Ryu got close to them and leaned on Issei's desk.
"So? How's your day going?"
"Great! I love school so much, I'm learning a lot and making friends!" Asia said, she was very enthusiastic.
"Good for you Asia, I can see that school has done wonders for you."
Asia giggled shyly at that.
Issei sighed very loudly and leaned back into his chair.
"It's soo booooring....." He said.
"Agreed."
"Anyways, I didn't expect you to actually come visit us though."
"Yeah well, I wasn't sleepy at all so I came down to pass the time somehow."
Just then a girl entered the classroom, she had brown hair was rather short, wore glasses and had two braids on each side.
"Oh right! Ryu that girl behind you was looking for you! She wanted to talk to you about something." Asia said to him, and glanced at the girl who entered the classroom.
Her eyes slightly widened when she saw Ryu in her class.
"Oh my, if it isn't\ Ogami Ryu." A girl's voice sounded from behind as he looked back.
"Do I know… you?" Ryu questioned, confusion easily noticeable in his voice.
The noise came from a short brown-haired girl with glasses, her eyes went down his body before they widened, she whistled. "From this distance, I see quite well… you indeed have a rather large 'tool' don't you? Wanna put it to use with me sometime?"
"EHHH?!" The class exclaimed in sync.
Dozens of furious eyes were suddenly on the bold girl, they muttered quite a lot of… interesting insults?
Issei's eyes darted between this girl and Ryu.
Asia stood there, slightly confused by what her classmate was asking him.
Ryu wasn't even phased though, he just sighed put his hand on her shoulder. "I respect your straightforwardness, but I have to apologize, I already have my eye on someone."
The girl was surprised, she expected a completely different reaction, she wanted to see this giant of a man blushing and stuttering.
As for the others they let out groans when they heard Ryu's words about having his eye on someone, they missed their chance.
"Ah, bummer. Can't blame a girl for trying, and by the way… would this 'someone' be Akeno Himejima?" She leaned in closely at the last part to make sure only he heard it.
Ryu's eyes widened slightly and he sighed once more, rather loudly this time. "I forgot what kind of a school this is."
She giggled, "Well, that's that. If it doesn't work out, and you're willing… I would be quite interested." She turned around and went to sit on her chair.
Ryu was unsure of what to say so he just stayed silent, he turned his attention back to Issei.
"Anyways, what're Rias and Akeno up to? Hell, I haven't even seen Kiba and Koneko."
Issei, who was still shocked didn't respond until Ryu shook him and repeated the question.
"O-Oh I don't know either, I haven't seen them." Issei answered.
"Ah well, it's something important I guess, if they need us they'll tell us." Ryu said before he walked out of the classroom and went to his class, because the bell had rung.
School hours went by slowly, Ryu was thinking about jumping out of a window to escape, but he didn't. He preferred the ramblings of his teacher over lectures from Sona, that girl could talk anyone's head off, and Ryu certainly didn't want to be subjected to that.
And then the final bell rung, signaling that school was finally over, Ryu stretched in his chair let out a groan and got up to pack his things.
And then he picked up his pace got out of the classroom, down the stairs alongside numerous other students, and walked out of school.
"Ryu! Over here!" He heard a very familiar female voice calling out to him, he looked towards his left, and noticed Akeno waving him over.
Ryu jogged over, "What's up? Haven't seen you all morning."
"Well... there's a reason for that, Rias is gathering everyone at the Club room because she has something to say, everyone's already there waiting for us." Akeno explained and grabbed his arm to drag him along.
Ryu didn't comment on it, he held her hand and walked beside her to their destination.
