"Leave the drive," Kaya commanded softly.
Russo nodded, stepping back from the desk. "Do you want us to handle him, Boss? A guy like this... he could have a tragic car accident on the interstate. We can make it look clean."
"No," Kaya said instantly, her tactical mind already operating a dozen steps ahead. "If a high-profile federal agent investigating Vanguard suddenly dies in a car crash, it validates every single one of his theories. It brings the entire weight of the Department of Justice down on our heads. We do not assassinate federal agents."
"Then what's the play?" Vance asked, frowning. "We can't just let him keep digging."
