Chapter 520 - SFDI: Chapter 520

The battle between Drake, Stella, and the Blackbeard Pirates had made the buildings of Mock Town have less than ten percent remaining.

Those thugs had still wanted to find Drake for compensation, and the result had naturally been that they had been kicked away by Drake one by one without any courtesy.

Drake had been worried about accidentally injuring innocents before this, and he had only then discovered that he had still lacked enough cognition of lawless zones, and every single person here had been scum whom no one would have felt sorry for if they had died.

And two days later, when the Straw Hat Pirates had arrived in Mock Town, they had only been able to see a land of ruins, and Drake and Stella had already set off for Skypiea long ago.

Robin had sought Drake's opinion on where she should go for some reason in Alabasta.

And the suggestion that Drake had given had been for her to join the Straw Hat Pirates. In Drake's eyes, only the atmosphere of the Straw Hat Pirates could have allowed Robin to break free from her nightmare.

And on Luffy's side, Drake had just told him that it would have been impossible to become the pirate king without Robin's help, and Luffy had almost taken the initiative to kneel down, begging Robin to join.

And after leaving Alabasta, they had run into the matter of ship wreckage falling from the sky, and the Log Pose rising abnormally.

Having learned of Skypiea's existence from Drake before this, there was no way that Luffy could have let go of the opportunity to adventure.

But how to go to Skypiea was something that even Robin hadn't had a clue about, so the group had only been able to come to Jaya Island first to find clues.

But what they had seen after landing on this island had been the ruined Mock Town.

Drake hadn't considered the scum of the town at all when he had been battling Blackbeard, and the people who had been caught up in the battle had either died or been injured, and most of the remaining people had also left.

So no one in Mock Town had found trouble with Luffy and them this time. But at the same time, they also hadn't had any place to find clues to go to Skypiea.

After going around in circles, the Straw Hat crew had finally found the Saruyama Allied Forces... an organization that had been made up of the descendants of the Noland who had been called the Liar.

They had always believed that the golden city hadn't been something that their ancestor had made up, so they had been looking for evidence of the golden city's existence near Jaya Island all along.

The Straw Hat Pirates had finally obtained the method to go to Skypiea, using the Knock Up Stream, from their mouths.

It was worth mentioning that Bellamy had been afraid of Drake, so he had dodged far away, and he had just so happened to have dodged to the Saruyama Allied Forces' territory. As if it had been destined, a conflict had occurred between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Saruyama Allied Forces.

Bellamy hadn't only mocked Luffy's dreams this time, but he had also obstructed Luffy's goal of going to Skypiea, and Luffy had unceremoniously knocked him down with one punch.

And just as the Straw Hat crew had been modifying the Going Merry and waiting for the ultra-giant Knock Up Stream, Drake and Stella had been guests at the Sky People's Hidden Cloud Village, where they had been living in seclusion.

Drake and Stella naturally hadn't needed to go through so much trouble to go to Skypiea, and Bird could have gone up with just a couple of flaps of its wings, with the mere ten thousand meters.

But just after entering the White Sea range of seven thousand meters, the two had run into an attack.

The composition of these clouds had been special, and although they had looked the same as normal clouds on the outside, they had been able to provide buoyancy that could have supported even ships and buildings.

This sea of clouds had been made up of sea clouds that had been the same as seawater, and another kind, island clouds, had been sturdy to the point that people could even walk on them.

This phenomenon, which couldn't be explained with physics at all, could only be attributed to the wonder of creation.

Bird had been hovering above the genuine "sea of clouds," allowing the two on its back to fully appreciate this dreamlike scenery.

This had been a height of seven thousand meters above the sea, and the air had already been quite thin, and ordinary people who had come here would have inevitably fallen into a weakened state because of extreme altitude sickness.

But with Drake and Stella's physiques, they had completely ignored the effects of the environment, but the peace hadn't lasted for very long before being destroyed.

Drake's eyebrows had raised, and he had suddenly sensed a delicate aura sweep over just now, and to be accurate, it should have been that someone had been sensing his aura with Observation Haki that had still been quite immature.

The reason why he had said that the other party had been immature was that the other party hadn't had any control over their Observation Haki at all, and they had been using it purely on instinct.

According to common sense, Armament Haki and Observation Haki were different from Conqueror's Haki, and most people had to undergo arduous training like Luffy to awaken them, and a situation of lacking control wouldn't have been able to happen.

Situations like Koby suddenly awakening Observation Haki in the Marineford War had actually been quite rare, so he had been in extreme pain from the large amount of information that he had suddenly sensed.

And the person who had been peeking at Drake and Stella with Observation Haki had clearly not suddenly awakened it, and it hadn't been like they had mastered it after training either.

On Skypiea, Observation Haki had been called Mantra, and it had been regarded as a special ability, and only two people had possessed it right now.

One had been Aisa, a little girl of the Shandian race who had awakened Mantra innately, and the other had been Enel, the ability user of the Goro Goro no Mi.

The latter had been using his devil fruit ability, and he hadn't only been able to monitor the entire Angel Island, but he had even been able to read brainwaves, and had then been able to read people's thoughts together.

But Drake had felt that it should have been the former, after all, this aura had been too delicate.

Stella had looked at Drake, saying, "Drake, what is this...?"

Drake had smiled, replying, "It should be a curious little guy, but troublesome guys have also appeared!"

Just as the two had been speaking, a series of strange whooshing sounds had rung out.

Even if it had been low in strength, the suddenly appearing aura had been too obvious on this empty White Sea.

And then the two had seen three strangely shaped people sliding over in the sea of clouds.

The clouds of the White Sea had been about the same as seawater, and it shouldn't have been possible for people to walk on it in principle. The reason why those three people had been able to act on the sea of clouds had been purely because of the special props below their feet.

That had been something that had looked about the same as skis or ice skates at a glance, and it had been relying on the mechanism of spraying air from the rear to provide powerful power, allowing these people to act freely on the White Sea.

These people had only been wearing simple feather or fur clothes on their bodies, revealing large patches of skin and the colorful tattoos on them. But they had been wearing giant masks on their faces, covering up their faces without revealing a bit.

What had been most surprising had been that these people had all had a pair of small white wings growing on their backs, but they hadn't looked like they could provide the ability to fly, and had just been decorations.

And the weapons in these people's hands had been even stranger, and the people on the left and right had each been carrying a cylindrical rocket launcher, and one had been holding a shield and a spear.

And the person at the lead in the middle had been carrying a shield on his back, and had been carrying a short sword in one hand, and had been holding up a rocket launcher in the other hand, opening fire at Drake and the two of them.

Drake hadn't understood how the rocket launcher had been able to blast out spherical cannonballs either, and that hadn't been the main point.

"They're still barbaric, launching an attack without any communication at all, huh! They should at least take a look at the level of their opponent!"

Those three people hadn't said a word from start to finish, but they hadn't hesitated to take action at all. It had been hard for people to accept this kind of barbaric behavior even after having known what kind of people this group had been all along!

The eyes that had been revealed from the wooden mask had shrunk to the size of pinpoints, because the attacker had seen that the cannonball that he had launched had actually been caught with bare hands, and had then been thrown back.

The speed that the cannonball had been flying back had even been more than twice as fast as when he had launched it with the launcher.

"Hurry and dodge!"

He had only had enough time to call out to his comrades while dodging, and the cannonball had then brushed past his body, exploding between the three's formation.

The impact of the explosion had made the three scatter directly, and the attacker who had been at the lead had stabilized his feet on the skis with his extraordinary skills, but he had raised his head, seeing Drake, who had had flame wings spread out on his back, smash the heads of his two comrades together.

Broken masks and nosebleeds had been flying everywhere, revealing two faces that had been rolling their eyes back.

"You bastard, what have you done!"

The attacker had shouted loudly, raising his rocket launcher, about to pull the trigger, when he had seen Drake throw the two people in his hands over.

The attacker had thrown away his weapon subconsciously, about to catch his comrades, when he had seen Drake cross over the two comrades who had been flying over, arriving before him.

"Why are you angry? We're the ones who were attacked!"

A minute later, the attacker had turned his head, looking at his comrades who had been grabbed by Bird's claws, and he had then looked at Drake, who had been pinching his neck, with a face that had been full of unwillingness.

In the end, Drake had said with a quite kind tone, "As compensation for having been attacked by you, you shouldn't mind taking us to sightsee in your Sky People's village, right?"
