Lucen knocked on the door a single time, and the person behind the door responded immediately.
"Come in."
Lucen pushed the door open and stepped inside without hesitation.
The office was simple and orderly, with shelves lined with neatly arranged documents and books. Behind the desk sat a tall man in a formal suit, his posture straight and composed.

The moment Lucen entered, Aldren's gaze fell on him. It was not sharp, nor was it oppressive, yet it carried a quiet weight that made it clear nothing within the room would escape his notice.
Lucen closed the door behind him and walked forward. He stopped a few steps from the desk.
"So what can I do for you, Lucen Thornehart?"
