Collaborative school establishment is merely a temporary measure, such universities can only construct a rough framework, and there is still a long way to go compared to a real university.
For instance, many of the current school's faculty can only be selected from newly graduated university students, with important positions filled by professors from Stuttgart Higher Technical College, and the principal being an authentic East African.
The university is one of the ideological battlegrounds, and naturally, the East African Government cannot allow this area to be exploited, especially when the competence and integrity of the German expatriate faculty are unclear.
Of course, there's no need to worry too much, especially with a science and technology school like Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology. If it were a comprehensive university, East Africa would not allow foreign interference!
