The man arriving with his sworn brothers had a familiar muscly build. Even if his face slimmed down from the hospital stay, Gustavo Ricci remained recognizable. The only difference was those dim eyes.
Guts endured his weakness, dragging his legs to get to them. He then gazed at the wide block filled with familiar names etched in tombstones. The only consolation he got was that every grave had many flowers, candles, and food offerings. Since his arms couldn't handle bouquets, his other friends were the ones who looked for their brothers and laid flowers.
He turned to Joshua, only glancing at Ryan and Theodore. His eyes almost glossed from the held-back tears. "I heard the school is hoping to reopen next school year. They are also asking the students to submit forms if we're transferring."
