"What are you saying?" Claude frowned deeply. His eyes would even glint red as if his voice was not enough to force Bowie to be obedient.
The detective even lowered his head as if fearful of the wolf before him, the wolf his body recognized as his master. "I… I heard about the wolf you met in the facility. Greg said it came to save everyone. Most importantly, it came to find you. It even knows your grandfather's voice. We have no way of knowing… but it could be him. After all, that wolf was unaccounted for."
Claude closed his eyes, releasing Bowie from pressure. He then stepped back and closed the door slowly. "Go back to Dr Oakley, Detective. It's not safe for you to go around alone."
The knob clicked. Claude turned the lock to keep anyone from entering again. Even if someone knocked, he might just ask them to leave.
