Ye Chen carried the milk tea and takeout bag to a residential area.
He saw an ordinary-looking man holding a large bouquet of roses, seemingly waiting for someone downstairs.
Ye Chen didn't pay any attention and continued delivering the takeout.
When he came back, he saw that man was on the phone.
"Sasha, didn't you tell me yesterday that you'd let me take you to the amusement park today? I've been waiting for you all morning and haven't seen you. Is something up?"
A girl's voice came from the other end.
"I went out partying with my girlfriends last night and got home really late. I'm tired now and don't want to go anywhere."
The man didn't expect the girl to say this, and his expression turned a bit gloomy.
"Then why don't you sleep a little longer, and we'll go when you wake up, alright?"
"I don't want to, I just want to sleep. Can you stop bothering me?"
"Sasha, be good. I took a day off just to accompany you, and I even worked extra yesterday,"
the man pleaded again.
