Bang! Bang!
Those were probably the last sounds I heard before I was dragged across the ground like an animal.
The bullets hit my lower back and ribs. Even though I was still conscious, my body was in complete shock. I couldn't move. I couldn't even speak.
Oddly enough, it didn't hurt anymore.
There was too much blood pouring out. At this rate, I'd bleed to death before long.
I never imagined that breaking into what I thought was an abandoned house would lead me to this.
Now they were dragging me toward the front door.
Another man stepped outside.
So... they're finally going to finish me off?
I couldn't hear them clearly anymore, but I managed to make out a few words.
"So this is the brat who tried to rob our place?"
The man spat in my face.
Then he turned to the others.
"Bring the hammer."
A hammer?
What the hell...? Are they planning to crush my skull?
Not that it mattered anymore.
My vision was growing darker by the second.
Heh... jokes on them.
They won't even get the chance to kill me.
Blood loss will do it first.
Thinking about it...
I really did live a pathetic life, didn't I?
If only...
If only I had one more chance.
Then everything faded to black.
