The four of them drank while chatting, mostly Zhuang Yi talking about his experiences in the military, followed by Guan Chao's observations, while Jiang Jingheng stayed mostly silent.
By the end of the night, the three men were all quite drunk.
Zhuang Chujiao felt her heart surge to the extreme as she watched Jiang Jingheng, who had passed out over the table.
Zhuang Chujiao had joined in the drinking later and had drunk less, staying relatively sober.
