Several times, she had inexplicably rolled into Denver's arms upon waking up in the morning.
Olivia was lost in thought when suddenly, a phone text message alert sounded in the dim light.
It was from Denver.
Denver paused for a moment, then reached for his phone.
"Are you asleep?" The text was from Josephine Holland.
Denver pursed his thin lips, hesitated for quite a while, and replied, "I'm about to rest."
"I miss you." Josephine's message arrived quickly again.
Denver set the phone to silent and replied, "It's late, why aren't you asleep yet? Get some rest."
Soon after, Josephine called again.
Denver held the phone with his fingers, then after a long pause, he lifted the covers, got up, slipped into his slippers, and walked to the balcony to make a call.
Olivia was also not very sleepy, lying flat on the bed, hearing his voice coming from the balcony, not very clear, but she could vaguely feel that he was quite patient.
