"Although I don't know what you're really up to, I have no interest in playing along with you anymore."
She finished speaking angrily, turned around angrily, took a few steps to the door, and pulled it open to leave.
"That kid's fate isn't so bad; he won't die easily. This is all I can reveal to you now. If you want more information, then come with me," the man's voice sounded leisurely from behind.
Scarlett Yates had one foot out the door, paused, retracted it, and turned around, "You mean he's not dead?"
"A scourge lives a thousand years. A person like him doesn't just die easily."
"Do you know where he is now?" Scarlett's heart nearly leaped out of her chest. She stared wide-eyed at the man, "Can you be sure he's really not dead?"
The man leisurely picked up a tea cup, took a sip, and nodded, "That's right, I can be sure."
Scarlett suppressed her inner excitement and joy, took a few deep breaths, and tried to calm herself down.
