Uncle Thompson's voice was lazy, sighing as he spoke.

Then the sound of Uncle Thompson walking could be heard, along with his voice speaking to Scarlett Yates: "Stop crying. He wants to say a few words to you. If you want to leave here soon, tell him to come and get you. You don't want to stay here, neither do I. As long as he immediately releases the Young Master and Madam, I'll send you to his side."
