She took a deep breath, raised her right hand, and fiercely wiped away her tears with her arm. Angrily, she looked up at Liam Spencer, glaring at him, and asked exasperatedly, "Liam, what do you mean by that? Don't you trust my feelings for you?"
Liam looked at the girl's furious expression, and his heart panicked. He wanted to hold her in his arms, to comfort her. He was really afraid that she would be truly angry and, in a fit of rage, leave him.
However, all this desire was restrained. He lowered his head, looking at Maya Spencer as if nothing had happened, and calmly said, "I don't mean anything. I just want you to think it over, so we don't end up divorcing after getting married."
Then, Liam continued, "I'll have Elijah take you back. Go home and think it through."
Liam was afraid his emotions would get out of control and he wouldn't be able to resist hugging Maya, so after saying that, he turned and walked into the bedroom, avoiding Maya.
