After treating Luke Land's wound, the doctor hurriedly gave a couple of instructions and then immediately left the room.
He didn't want to ruin the couple's moment any further.
Eva Miller reached out her index finger and rubbed her somewhat swollen lips.

Right after saying that, Eva suddenly got up and started heading in the opposite direction of the door. Thinking she was about to leave, Luke didn't hesitate and tried to stop her despite the wound on his back.
"Sit down and don't move," Eva snapped, rolling her eyes at him, "I'm just going downstairs to ask the doctor what you need to be careful about with your wound. I'll be right back."
The doctor's instructions were too hurried, too brief. She felt she hadn't understood anything at all.
