To their fascination, the fog parted slowly, revealing an island.

"Mother…" Lapiz looked longingly at the island while clenching her fists.
"Everyone, get ready," Alex said before summoning shields that everyone could step on.

The little bun jumped on top of Alex's head in response. It was even wearing a red bandana as if prepared to go to war.
Cairo, Elaine, and Efa had already transferred to the princess' airship, standing on a large magical shield Alex had conjured for them.
