(3rd POV)
After they finished eating, Cain and Lanius, along with the others, stepped outside the 7th-unit dorms to spar. They had originally intended to fight in the courtyard, but Uta quickly reminded the two men just how destructive they could be. So, they wisely moved the fight outside.
The two Latinos stood forty meters from the dorm, five meters apart, while the others watched from a safe distance of thirty meters away. Cain and Lanius exchanged smiles that could unsettle even the toughest individuals.
"Ready to get your ass kicked, old man?" Lanius taunted.
Cain scoffed playfully, narrowing his eyes. "You? Kicking my ass? Funny. The only ass getting handed to anyone here is yours, kiddo."
"Is that so?" Lanius began to approach his father, cracking his knuckles.
"Indeed," Cain replied, mirroring his son's actions and walking toward him with his hands casually tucked behind his back.
When they were just a few feet apart, Lanius made the first move. Faster than the eye could follow, his fist shot toward Cain's face. The older man easily deflected the attack, countering with an open-palm strike aimed at Lanius's chin.
Lanius barely evaded Cain's strike by inches, then delivered a devastating uppercut that connected solidly with his father's jaw.
Cain, anticipating his son's attack, shifted back just in time, narrowly avoiding the punch. As Lanius's fist whizzed past him, Cain felt the raw power behind it. He knew that a direct hit would fuck him up pretty badly, and a kick could crack or even break a few bones.
Lanius launched another strike, but Cain was quick on his feet, catching his wrist and twisting it, causing Lanius to wince in response. The older man then pulled Lanius toward him, bent over, lifted him over his shoulder, and slammed him down to the ground hard enough for it to crack beneath them.
Cain quickly brought his foot down toward Lanius's face. However, before it could connect, Lanius grabbed his father's arm with both hands, yanked him down, and kicked him squarely in the face, sending Cain stumbling backward.
Quickly getting back to his feet, he charged at Cain. When he was just a few feet away, he leaped and aimed a powerful kick directly at Cain's chest.
Cain reacted swiftly, sidestepping and striking Lanius in the face with his elbow. Blood and spit flew out as the young man was knocked back to the ground with a thud.
As Lanius landed on his back, he quickly placed his hands on the ground beside his head, brought his knees to his chest, and launched both feet at Cain, delivering a devastating kick to his father's face.
The impact sent Cain flying into the air, but he didn't stay airborne for long. Lanius seized his right ankle and slammed him down to the ground.
He then lifted Cain over his shoulder and slammed him down again. Lanius repeated this impressive maneuver three more times until a swift kick to his face loosened his grip on Cain's ankle, allowing the older man to break free.
Cain landed gracefully and moved toward Lanius, grabbing the back of his head. He then brought the younger man's face down to his knee, breaking his nose and causing blood to pour out.
Cain pulled Lanius back, ramming his skull into the young man's broken nose, resulting in even more blood.

– With The Others –
"So, Uta-san, who do you think is going to win?" Honami asked, wincing as she watched the escalating fight. "Jeez, Cain really doesn't pull his punches, does he?"
Uta chuckled softly. "No, he definitely doesn't. As for your question, Cain will win without a doubt," she said without a moment's hesitation. "In terms of physical capabilities, they're nearly equal. But in combat ability and experience? Cain is still leagues ahead of Lanius. The only way I could see Lanius defeating his father is if he suddenly gained some serious plot armor," she joked.
Everyone winced as they witnessed Lanius land a kick right to Cain's groin, then slam the older man to the ground with a German suplex.
"OI! IF HIS BALLS STOP WORKING AND HE CAN'T GIVE ME ANY KIDS BECAUSE OF YOU, I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS!" Tenka shouted, glaring at Lanius fiercely.
The others looked at her, varying expressions on their faces.
"What the fuck, Tenka?" Yachiho asked incredulously.
Tenka turned to her. "What?"
"You were serious about that?"
"Are you kidding me?" Tenka replied, looking at Yachiho as if she were missing the obvious. "Have you seen Cain? He's a whole-ass gourmet buffet. Do you really think I'd joke about something like that?"
"With you? Who knows?" Yachiho sighed, exasperated.
"Eh, fair enough." Tenka shrugged, fully aware of how unpredictable and exhausting she could be. "However, I do want Cain's babies," she admitted boldly, her tone unapologetic. She then eyed Kyoka, Shushu, Himari, and Honami with a playful yet challenging gaze. "And I'll make sure I'm the third one to get knocked up," she declared, prompting them to narrow their eyes.
"Speaking of getting knocked up," Uta interjected with an unreadable expression, "which one did Cain impregnate?"
While Cain mentioned that he knocked one of them up, he never specified who it was, and she had forgotten to ask earlier because she was too busy stuffing her mouth with Cain's food.
"It was me," Zero answered smugly.
Uta turned to her, eyes narrowing. "Is that so?"
Zero nodded defiantly. "You got a problem with that, candy cane?"
Uta's right eye twitched at the nickname. "What did you just call me?"
"You heard me. What are you going to do about it?"
"...you're lucky you're pregnant. Otherwise, I would've kicked your ass," Uta growled, causing Zero's smirk to widen even more.
"A female humanoid Shuuki's reproductive system is similar to that of birds and reptiles," Zero revealed, surprising the singers.
"So that means..."
"They're already out," Zero said, cracking her knuckles. "So you still want to go? Or are you afraid of getting your ass beaten?"
Before things could escalate further, Kyoka stepped in between them. "As much as I love to see Zero get her ass kicked—" Zero scowled at her. "You two can fight after Cain and Lanius are finished. Got it?"
The two women exchanged a long look before looking away and scoffing in unison.
"Fine," they said in unison.
Kyoka let out a relieved sigh, her shoulders relaxing slightly. 'That was too close.'
As much as she wanted to see the two powerful women fight, she, along with the others, didn't want to be anywhere near them during their exchange or be distracted from Cain and Lanius's battle.

– Back With Cain and Lanius – (An hour later)
The fight between father and son had escalated dramatically as the two Latinos stopped holding back and went all out.
The ground was littered with craters of various sizes and depths; blood, organs, and limbs were scattered everywhere, alongside the mutilated bodies of Shuuki's men who dared to intervene.
Lanius struck Cain in the jaw with his elbow, and in response, Cain retaliated by hitting his son squarely in the solar plexus, causing Lanius to hunch over and gasp for air.
However, Lanius didn't remain hunched for long. Cain's fist connected with his jaw, jerking Lanius's head back and sending blood and teeth flying from his mouth.
Cain then lifted Lanius over his head and slammed him down to the ground. He then placed his foot on his son's chest, looking down with a mix of pride and satisfaction.
"You fought well, kiddo," Cain praised.
"T-Thanks, Dad." Lanius smiled, his expression brightening despite the pain. "I wish we could've fought longer, but my healing factor is close to giving out."
Cain shrugged nonchalantly. "It's alright. We can always fight again tomorrow." He helped Lanius up and threw an arm over his shoulder. "For now, let's head back. All this fighting has made me really hungry."
"But didn't we just eat?"
"You do remember we burn through calories like a motherfucker, right?"
"Oh yeah, right. I almost forgot."
