All the Marine powerhouses around were inevitably shocked by this unmatched presence.
Involuntarily, some Marines who had just seen Gojo Satoru move grew pale — they felt their doom was near.
"Um… Gojo Satoru? That's terrifying…" one of them whispered.
Kizaru raised his hands in mock fright. "I really want to faint, but I'm very—very scared of you," he said with a nervous laugh.
Gojo merely smiled. "Stop pretending. You noticed me already, didn't you? Do you take me for a fool who doesn't know what's going on?"
Kizaru laughed uneasily. "Of course. I— I'm certainly aware. You're the third-in-command of the Kamui Pirates, one of Kronos' most powerful lieutenants. Your name is famous — even the Five Elders have heard of you."
Gojo blinked in mild surprise, then chuckled. "Really? So the Marines really have been paying attention."
Kizaru waved a hand. "How about we have a cup of tea sometime?"
Gojo shook his head with a cold smile. "No chance. You're going to die by my hand today."
Those words, delivered with an almost playful smile, sent chills through the onlookers. It wasn't the smile of a person — it was the smile of something monstrous.
"This is terrifying… really terrifying," someone murmured. "Young people these days are monsters."
Before Kizaru could finish his reply, Gojo vanished and reappeared right in front of him, delivering a sudden strike.
Kizaru reacted quickly. Fingers of light formed like blades, slicing the air to parry Gojo's palm. The two locked in a deadlock.
"How dare you try a sneak attack? Even in my old age I'm still alert. Don't do that to me," Kizaru said, his usual languid tone gone, replaced by a cold edge.
Gojo's voice remained calm but stern. "You came to my side, but still tried to strike first. It seems we both like surprises."
The two Admirals — revered pillars of the Marines — were now entangled with two peerless powerhouses from the Kamui Pirates. From the start, the Marines had been on the defensive. Banggu and Ji Guoyuanyi wreaked havoc among their ranks.
If the situation continued like this, the Marines wouldn't even be able to secure a foothold on Honeycomb Island. Worse, the entire fleet might be wiped out on this island.
