Chapter 282 - Crystalline Meteor Storm

Flames like solid matter began to rise from his surface, and immense heat spread outward. The three surrounding Crimson God froze slightly, instinctively sensing danger. This posture was clearly bad news.

"You are ganging up on me," he said. "Then as the boss, adding special mechanics is only fair, right?" Burning form activated at low power, restoring him to the level he had before splitting his strength.

That meant returning to his normal peak. It was more than enough to easily kill the survivors in front of him. The gap was absolute.

A field-covering super vibration wave erupted first. Then multiple accelerated Charged Particle Cannon rings formed across his body, gathering into even hotter Charged Particle Cannon beams. They shot out at lightning speed toward the three monsters and punched straight through their bodies.

Ganymede was dragged backward by the impact. Gorolion could barely keep its footing as scorching electric light clashed with its destructive power and crushed through it. The beam pierced deep inside, nearly detonating, leaving a narrow melted hole through one side of its flesh.

The ambusher behind him was treated to ruthless plasma cutting. Like a hot knife through Gold Rank oil, nearly half of its tentacles were sliced off, leaving deep charred scars along its body. A faint smell of cooked meat spread through the air.

All three Divine Kingdom had now collided, with Belial standing right at the boundary. The clash of rules and Authority caused countless chaotic phenomena. Yet he himself seemed completely unaffected.

Using himself as the center, blockbuster Crystal spread outward, glowing with searing red light. Branches and vines reached out across the three different domains. They pushed forward without resistance.

He did not evolve them into ecological Clone. The scale and control were not sufficient, and in burning form he did not need it. Direct violence was simpler.

"I will just kill all of you cleanly," he said. He chose Ganymede first, the softest target among them. There was no hesitation.

The flaming Great Dragon plunged into the bubble world. Everything inside, regardless of form, ignited under hundreds of thousands of degrees of heat. Wherever he passed, it all turned into a sea of fire.

He had once expelled Radon's legacy and reshaped it into a rough fourth Clone unit, but those abilities were still usable. Now, in burning form, his power manifested as true sky burning and sea boiling. The unknown substance made of water or bubbles boiled and burned violently.

The sea below became a pot of scalding liquid. The giant crab Ganymede inside was simply food prepared for the Lord. He even considered adding lizard and squid later for variety.

"Still," he said with a cruel grin, "I should eat first."

What is the best way to cook a crab. He had more or less decided on boiling water, but then the question was how to eat it. Belial had heard there was a special set of tools for eating crabs called Eightfold Crab Relic, but he did not have any, so he chose the simplest and roughest way, prying the head open and eating it directly.

Boom. The giant crab that had just surfaced was smashed back into the sea by a brutal punch, and the Great Dragon wrapped in terrifying heat chased after it without mercy. As the wings vibrated, the surface of the ocean vanished like a mirage, with decay and dreamlike concepts colliding head-on.

The result was a one-sided crush, and Mephist had already figured it out clearly. This sea was not very deep, averaging about the depth of Mariana Trench. He calculated it by pressing Ganymede's head all the way down to the seabed rock layer, straight to the spatial boundary of Divine Kingdom, leaving a massive whirlpool void on the foamy surface that refused to close.

"Ji…!" The pinned-down Ganymede tried to struggle a little, but Belial did not like ingredients that moved. No matter how fresh, it absolutely could not be alive.

So he paused his fist and hammered down again and again, constantly radiating sterilizing heat from within his body. He even added two shots of Fusion Reaction Beam as extra firepower. Crabs were lively creatures though, and even after that beating it could still wail, so Belial thought for a moment and used plasma cutting to chop off all eight legs, mincing them carefully. That finally made it foolproof.

The outer bubbles began to fade, and the enormous Bubble Mirage Divine Kingdom eventually dissolved into nothing. The Crystal ecology belonging to another existence spread rapidly, weaving together and greedily plundering everything left as its own nourishment.

Within Abyssal Void, a beautiful Crystal flower bloomed, reflecting a pale blue light. Gorolion and Gezora both wore expressions like they had seen a ghost, because it was gone far too fast. They had considered killing the weakest crab, Gamera, first to split the inheritance, but they still needed all three together to have a chance of holding back Belial.

Instead, he rushed in and finished it in just a few minutes. That left the two of them sweating, unsure whether to fight or retreat. Gamera might have been the weakest, but at this level a duel was never guaranteed, yet in Belial's hands it was total suppression until death, without even a final outburst.

At the very top of the Crystal flower, Belial climbed out while sucking on a crab claw. Crab tasted pretty good, though he wondered if eating too much seafood lately might cause problems. "Whatever, I will eat first. It is not like I ate that much anyway."

He gave the remaining two monsters a warm and friendly smile. The Crystal branches beneath him surged, squeezing Gamera's remains and even Divine Kingdom itself into nutrients and energy that flowed into Belial. He then opened his mouth wide as white light burst from his body and the temperature climbed toward a million degrees.

What followed was a continuous barrage of Fusion Reaction Beam, with two extra shots of Divine Severing Thunder generously added in the middle. The two monsters were so moved by Belial's generosity that they nearly collapsed on the spot. So how was the situation on the other battlefield.

Above the ancient floating The Continent, the once countless divine beasts were reduced to a pitiful few, still fleeing for their lives. On the other side, lush and thriving Crystal forests spread everywhere, hiding countless assimilated monsters that warmly chased their former kin to invite them into the family.

More than four-fifths of the entire Divine Kingdom was now covered by the Crystal ecology. Acting as pioneers were walking mountains, giant beasts around forty to fifty meters tall. They kept advancing without pause, causing the ground to shake, and nothing in front of them could stop their march except being trampled to pieces.

The former the Lord of this land was once again blasted away by thunderous roars. His armor shattered into Shard and was riddled with Crack, scattering powdered Shard fragments everywhere. After rolling several times on the ground, his landing point was struck by blue-green lightning from the towering ecological Clone the Lord body and several other Clone bodies, a combined Charged Particle Cannon strike.

"Roar… urgh…" Oil-like blood spilled as the massive Crimson God, shaped like an Earth Dragon, lay on the ground with utter confusion in his eyes. He had been beaten nonstop to this point. That thing ignored his Authority entirely and eroded his domain so badly that it stripped away his skills, leaving him to rely on basic attacks against a pure stat monster.

Before he could think further, a huge shadow fell over him. With earth-shattering steps, a mountain-like beast approached. The Planetary Ecological Avatar showed no expression, its blue-green eyes calm in the face of certain victory.

It showed no emotion toward the defeated foe, no ceremony or respect. It simply raised its massive foot. Particle control combined with Gravity Manipulation came down in an instant.

Boom. The sounds of bones breaking and flesh being torn lasted only a moment before being drowned out by the impact. Crimson God's upper body, head included, was crushed flat without any suspense.

His soul was also pulverized by the attached soul-striking force. Even the floating The Continent collapsed under that single stomp, breaking into the Void. With the end of the local the Lord, another hunter in the great hunt exited the stage.

Having completed its task and sensing no new target, the massive Planetary Ecological Avatar stood still. It slowly closed its eyes like a grand statue.

Elsewhere, the once vast and beautiful vortex galaxy was torn apart beyond recognition. The Void was filled with molten magma and chains of floating Crystal ecological meteor belts. Meteors streaked down as dense, scorching lightning followed, forcing the octopus-like Crimson God to retreat into his palace, only for the freshly repaired ceiling to be melted away by Corona Beam.

Now the outer Void had become the the Lord field of the monster wrapped in Crystal meteors. Massive Crystal rocks orbited it like planets, crashing down one after another, each explosion clearing wide areas. Guided ghostly Crystal strikes collapsed the palace again, and a Gravity Tornado dragged the soft-bodied creature out as savage light filled the eyes of the Space ecological Clone.
