"Cecil Stedman. Director of Global Defense Agency," he says firmly, his eyes never leaving the figure. "And you are?" He already knows the answer - Prime. But he wants to hear it from the source.
"Prime so what is the director of global Defense doing here?"
Cecil's expression turns serious. "I think you know why I'm here, Prime." He takes a deep breath, steeling himself. "You just took out The Immortal with a single slap. You froze dozens of our drones without breaking a sweat. You've got the GDA on high alert."
"Your drones were annoying me, and as for the immortal he's Swag first."
Cecil's eyebrow twitches at the nonchalant response. "Annoying?" He repeats, his tone slightly incredulous. "Those drones were top-of-the-line military tech. And The Immortal... he's a legend. A hero who's saved this planet more times than I can count." Cecil pauses, studying the figure carefully.
"And now he's laid up in a quitter."
Cecil winces slightly. "Fair enough," he concedes reluctantly. He watches the smoke still rising from the forest crater. "But you're still not registered. No origin. No records. You just appeared out of nowhere and started smashing our assets like they were toys." He crosses his arms. "Who are you really, Prime?"
"You could say I'm someone from outside the observable universe. Who traveled a long way to get here?"
Cecil's eyes widen slightly, processing the information. "Outside the observable universe?" He repeats, his voice barely containing his amazement. "That would explain the lack of records and the unprecedented power level." He pauses, his mind racing with implications. "And what brings someone with your abilities here?"
"To be honest, I just wanna have some fun."
Cecil stares at Prime for a long moment, processing this. "Fun," he says slowly, his voice flat. "You travelled across universes, froze our drones, broke The Immortal's hand, and slapped him into a forest... for fun." He pinches the bridge of his nose. "You realize the GDA exists to protect Earth, right?"
"I can help you with threats you know so long as I'm compensated."
Cecil's hand drops from his nose, and he looks at Prime with a mix of skepticism and hope. "Compensated?" He repeats. "You mean money? Resources? Power?" He considers the offer seriously. Having an alien with such immense power on their side could change everything for the GDA.
"I won't work for you, but if you need my help, here's what I'm going to need $500 million monthly a mansion somewhere around New York And my identity and everything else I would need in this world."
"Cecil's eyes nearly pop out of his head at the demands. "Half a billion dollars a month? A mansion in New York?" He laughs humorlessly. "You're out of your mind if you think the GDA has that kind of budget. We're not some corporate sponsor, we're a government agency."
"Don't lie to me how much does that teleporter cost you by the way. I know you can afford it you know you can afford it so stop playing hockey and do it."
Cecil grits his teeth at the blunt accusation. "Fine," he snaps. "Yes, we can afford it. But giving a mysterious alien half a billion dollars a month and a mansion in New York? That's not something the GDA can just approve without serious consideration."
"Fine 250 million."
Cecil runs a hand through his hair, clearly agitated. "250 million a month... and the mansion?" He confirms. "In exchange for your services? Helping us with threats, keeping Earth safe?" He pauses, already knowing the answer. "And your identity remains secret?"
"Of course."
Cecil nods slowly, making up his mind. "Alright," he says firmly. "I'll push it through. The mansion will be in Manhattan, near Central Park. And the 250 million will be transferred to an offshore account every month." He extends a hand. "Deal?"
He Shook his hand with no force at all. " Deal."
Cecil watches as Prime's hand, covered in that blue and red armor, shakes his own. The deal is done. He's just hired an alien with god-like powers to protect Earth. He hopes this won't come back to bite him.
About 20 minutes later, they were in the GDA headquarters.
The GDA headquarters is a bustling hub of activity. Agents rush around, monitoring screens displaying global threats. Cecil leads Prime through the security checkpoint without a word. They enter a large conference room where the Guardian of the globe, Darkwing, War Woman, Martian Man, green ghost, red rash and Aquarius The room falls silent as Prime enters. Cecil begins the introductions. "Everyone,"
"This is Prime. He's... officially on our side now." Cecil says carefully, watching the Guardians' reactions. War Woman crosses her arms, Martian Man tilts his head curiously, Darkwing narrows his eyes suspiciously, Red Rash grins, Aquarius looks unimpressed, and Green Ghost hovers uncertainly. "He just took out The Immortal with one slap," Cecil adds.
"One slap?" War Woman repeats, her eyebrows raising. Martian Man nods appreciatively, "Impressive." Darkwing leans forward, his voice low. "And where did you say he's from again?" Cecil clears his throat, "He's... extraterrestrial."
War Woman scoffs. "And you trust him?" She gestures at Prime. "He destroyed our drones and The Immortal without blinking. Why shouldn't we?" The room erupts in murmurs of agreement. Red Rash chimed in, "Yeah, I mean, what if he decides to destroy us too?" Darkwing nods approvingly. "Exactly." Cecil sighs heavily.
"If I wanted to you all would be dead but your not all I want is to have fun."he said with a smile.
The room falls silent again, the Guardians staring at Prime in shock. Green Ghost flickers nervously. Aquarius rolls his eyes. "Great, a powerful alien with the emotional maturity of a teenager." Martian Man chuckles, "Well, at least he's honest." War Woman's face darkens.
"Honest?" She snaps. "He just admitted he could kill us all and all you can say is 'at least he's honest'?!" She slams her fist on the table, making everyone jump. "I don't care if he's powerful or exotic or whatever. If he's a threat, he needs to be neutralized."
"I'm right here."Everyone turns to look at Prime, who's leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, looking bored. "And?" War Woman challenges, standing up. "You gonna do something about it, alien?" She steps closer, her hand on her mace. The room tenses, expecting a fight to break out at any moment.
"Oh I would be happy to."
"War Woman, don't—" Cecil starts, but it's too late. War Woman swings her mace, aiming for Prime's head with all her might. The crack of energy fills the room.
*Smack.*
Prime catches the mace with one hand, not even flinching. War Woman stumbles forward from the momentum, her eyes going wide with disbelief.
"That was a mistake." He flicked her through a wall
*Everyone watches in shock as War Woman flies through the wall, crashing into the room next door. The sound of breaking furniture fills the silence. No one moves, no one speaks. They're all staring at the alien who just tossed their teammate like she was nothing.* Darkwing swallows hard.
"Alright, alright!" Cecil holds up his hands, trying to defuse the situation. "Everyone calm down!" He turns to Prime, his voice firm. "That was unnecessary. War Woman is one of our best agents." He pauses, choosing his words carefully.
"She stated it."
"She was being reckless," Cecil admits, glancing at the hole in the wall where War Woman disappeared. "But she's not wrong. You are a threat. A powerful one." He looks around at the other Guardians, who are all nodding in agreement.
"I don't hurt people unless they attack first."
"See?" Cecil says, trying to calm everyone down. "He has boundaries. He's not just destroying randomly." Martian Man nods slowly. "True. He could have killed her instantly but he just... moved her." Green Ghost flickers nervously.
Aquarius scoffs, "Yeah, moved her through a wall. Big difference." Red Rash smirks, "I like this guy. He's got rules. I can work with that." Darkwing watches Prime carefully, his mind racing. "Cecil," he says suddenly."You really trust this guy? With 250 million and a mansion?" War Woman stumbles back through the hole, covered in dust, mace dented, fury burning in her eyes. "Cecil! We have to do something about this—" *Slam.*
Prime flicks her in the opposite direction. Again.
The room goes dead silent.
*Everyone stares at the scene in shock. War Woman crashes into the wall with a loud thud, sliding down to the floor unconscious. The room is filled with a heavy silence, the only sound being the distant echo of her mace hitting the floor.* Cecil's face turns pale, his mouth agape.
"She was about to do something stupid."
Cecil forces himself to nod, trying to maintain authority. "Alright, everyone heard that." He looks around the room, his voice low. "He has rules. Attack him first, and he responds accordingly. Simple."
Darkwing steps forward, jaw tight. "And what if one of us loses our temper? War Woman's not exactly known for her patience."
"Think about what you say."
The room falls silent again as everyone processes Prime's warning. Darkwing swallows hard, realizing the gravity of the situation. "Fair point," he admits grudgingly. Cecil nods slowly, understanding the unspoken threat—any sudden move against Prime could result in severe consequences.
