Kaneki Ken paid no attention to Nishimiya Eiri's words, his focus entirely on Rei Shindai's face.

Ryuji's question made Touka glare at him and whisper sharply, "Shut up! Why so many why questions!"
Seeing Touka's firm attitude, Ryuji had no choice but to say nothing more.
Touka, feeling a bit proud that Ryuji obediently listened, then took over and went to order for Rei Shindai.
"May I ask what you'd like to drink?" Touka asked as she returned to Rei Shindai.
"Why did you pull that handsome new staff member away?" Rei Shindai didn't start ordering but instead asked an unrelated question.
Hearing this, Touka was caught off guard and became a little nervous internally.
"That... he just arrived, and there are many things he doesn't understand," Touka made up an excuse to dodge the question.
Rei Shindai naturally didn't believe her and instead guessed, "Are you afraid he'll cling to me, or that I'll cling to him? Your behavior is just like you're afraid your boyfriend might have any contact with a pretty girl!"
Rei Shindai's words completely threw Touka into chaos.

"I'm not his girlfriend at all!" Touka firmly denied.
"Then you just like him, right? The more you like someone, the more you care about that person," Rei Shindai said again.
Touka's emotions suddenly overwhelmed her, drawing the attention of Ryuji, Yoshimura Kousan, Irimi Kaya, and Koma Enji, all of whom looked over.
"Ryuji, go call Touka-chan back! Kaya-chan, go apologize to the customer!" Yoshimura Kousan immediately intervened to handle the situation.
"Yes, boss!" Ryuji and Irimi Kaya responded in unison.
