Damian and the rest of the guards were shocked to see a tyrant so soon , tyrant don't just pop up like that. It usually took two days to look for one. What was one of them doing in front of them now, they weren't even prepared!
Damian suddenly guessed that Dylan must be behind it. He remembered that these monsters actually listen to him back then. If that's true they're so dead!
The tyrant didn't waste time to charge towards them with speed, luckily they all dodged in different places on time. But the first thing that came to mind was to run, and so they did running in different directions. Damian, Zain , Drystan, and Evan ran in one direction while Orion, Caius ran in the other direction. They sure as hell weren't ready to fight a tyrant!
Dylan sighed what the hell are they doing? He smirked evilly, they couldn't avoid this,So he sent two tyrant each in their direction. But it was frustrating though all day long, they managed to avoid tyrant but they battled with some monsters but ran away anytime they saw tyrants. cowards!
He soon grew bored looks like they aren't ready yet he could do other things. A smile appeared on his lips he could call out to Kathy or go see her right now. Damian was useful after all.
Kathy was surprised that Dylan didn't even talk to her back. She wanted to call him badly but she had her pride , even though she missed him terribly. And she left just yesterday, well he was busy was he not. She could get busy too, he gave her a task didn't he? He wasn't the only one who could get busy.
" Little cat" she gasped when she heard Dylan's voice. He called her! Oh gosh what should she do? Her heart pounded in her chest. Should she reply? What should she say?
But then she remembered him saying he was busy, well she could be busy too. She wanted to throw his words back at him but she couldn't trust herself. So she kept quiet tightening her fist she was determined to give him the silent treatment.
Dylan called again but she kept quiet and scoffed and walked out of her room with the goal to keep herself busy.
She didn't know that Dylan was standing there leaning on the wall close to her door, he frowned as she left. Of course she couldn't see him because he wasn't sure he could help himself if they saw each other right now. This was the safest he could think of
Why was she acting that way? Didn't she heard him. She looked like she did. He followed her out like a stalker following her all day. He wanted to get mad but seeing her just walk back and forth amused him. She didn't have a destination in mind when she had left the room. She walked round the castle making sure to avoid any royals.
Dylan smiled each time she saw a royal and ran away to hide in a little corner, there was also a time she ducked. Still walking about trying to familiarize herself with the castle. He just followed her about. He called again and he heard a 'hmp' as she continued her exploration.
Soon enough she found the library, quite by accident she was curious about what would be inside a huge wooden door. She was surprised to find out it was books. She didn't see anyone in so she went in thinking she should look for a book to read. That'll surely get her busy.
She walked around for a while the library was huge, the biggest she'd ever seen in her life
She then saw a book she was interested in but it was high up. Dylan watched her struggled to get the book not making a move to offer any kind of help. She quit stretching her hands up and frowned , she search around for a chair luckily she dragged it to where her book was and climbed on it . She reached the book and excitedly pulled it out this made her loose balance and she was about to fall when someone placed a han on her.
Kathy turned around startled, she was shocked to see the pretty queen. She almost lose balance again but she tried to compose herself. She got down still shocked
" Y..your majesty." She whispered then she bowed down quickly going very low like she wanted to split on half. She it was a very awkward position shooting her butt out like that. Dylan snickered at the way she bowed his eyes shamelessly shifting to her butt.
" Did you have to get that particular book?" Laura said and walked passed her seeing that Kathy was still in that position. " You may lift your head."
" Thank you." She straighten up snapping Dylan out of his naughty thoughts, he blinked twice and looked away. Kathy was already having second thoughts about reading she slowly kept the book on the chair and tried to leave
" You may stay." Laura said her tone was all aura and queen like
" No need I wouldn't want to disturb you." Kathy said and turned to leave quickly
" I insist." The queen words stopped her. She closed her eyes in regret and went back to take her book . She smiled awkwardly at the queen. But Laura just ignored her and went to seat in one of the chairs meant for readers
She made sure she sat far after saying thank you. Reading the book didn't settle well with her again she just looked at the words but soon as she saw something familiar in it her interest grew and before she knew it she got lost in the book
Laura saw that the little human girl had loosen up around her. She looked so focused on her book she forgot she was in the queen's presence. Laura tried to steal a glance at the title of the book. When she saw the title she was shocked.
The title was king Philip's first son , why was she interested in it. The look on her face... It was confusing. She was so curious it became an itch
" I wrote it myself." Laura said breaking the silence. But Kathy didn't hear her, Laura brow formed a frow , how could she ignore her. She coughed loudly causing Kathy to look up
" Are you alright your majesty?" She asked politely making Laura smile. She was a nice girl too bad she was stuck with Damian.
" I wrote that book." Laura said instead. Kathy's eyes widened in wonder.
Then she realized that she was Dylan's mother, no wonder the book holds many emotions
" Why are you so interested in it? There's plenty other book in here even fantasy or maybe novels that fit your age group, why that one?" Laura asked
Kathy had deliberately choose the book the title told her it was definitely Dylan. But whi knew the queen would come in at that particular time and started throwing questions at her
" Just curious? My husband said something about.. Dylan's place I asked around and heard he was the first son of the king when I saw the title I was curious about him." Kathy said truthfully, well part truth.
" Oh. " Laura just said, she grew sad , she asked people? She probably heard that he was a monster.
" He's fascinating." Kathy heard herself say.
" What" Laura almost gasped looked at her shocked. Her heart pounding?Did she say her dylan was fascinating? Kathy realized what she said
