Release him? Why?
Erin abruptly turned around, glaring at Gabriel.
"What?"
Several nearby elves showed equally stunned expressions.
Even the goblin lying on the ground froze.
However, Gabriel ignored them and turned toward Aelira.
"Keep the other two. Let this one go."
The frown on Erin's face deepened, and she couldn't help but voice her objection. "It knows something about the children!"
"That's why we're letting it go."
"But…"
"Do you think it'll tell you anything if you keep questioning it?" Gabriel continued, "They lost an attacking force of more than three thousand today, and even the commander responsible for directing the battle died here. The goblins who escaped alive won't continue wandering around outside. They'll have to report what happened on the front line. And someone who knows about those eleven children will probably have access to more than an ordinary soldier."
